Chapter 6 - Crash

(POV Elijah)

Sa buong buhay ko, ngayon lang ako nagalit ng ganito. I closed my eyes in an attempt to dissolve my anger. When suddenly, a girl appeared on the side of the road. Buti na lang, mabilis ang reflexes ko and I was quick enough to hit the break and steered away from the girl. Pero I was a little bit too late when I heard a banging sound.

Oh crap! God, please please please. Sana buhay pa siya.

Sobrang kaba ng dibdib ko. I hurriedly went out of the car and saw a girl in a high school uniform near the sidewalk.

Sinusubukan pa niyang pulutin ang mga nagkalat niyang notebooks at books despite of her limping arm. This girl is either strong or just plain stubborn.

"Are you crazy? Don't move! It may worsen your injury or fractures if there's any. Let me get your stuffs for you," nag-aalala kong sabi sa kanya.

"Am I crazy? Gago ka pala eh! Do you remember that you hit me with your fucking car?" galit niyang sabi sa akin.

Aba, may energy pa tong bata na to na magalit sa akin!

"Is it my fault that you pop up out of nowhere?" inis kong tanong sa kanya habang pinupulot ang mga gamit niya.

"Ohhh! I am soooo sorry! Nagkaroon ba ng scratches ang expensive looking car?" she said in a most annoying and sarcastic voice.

Akala ko, sinira na ni Adrianna araw ko, pero mas lalong pinalala nitong babaeng to. Wala pang kahit sino ang sumasagot sa akin ng pabalang.

Sinubukan ko siyang tulungan at binuhat ko siya papasok sa kotse. Akala ko aalma or mag wawala, but to my surprise, she let me carry her. 

Inirapan niya lang ako sabay sabi ng Hmmmph!

Again, I tried my best to remain calm. I should be rewarded for this.

"Ok, fine. Hindi kita nakita. You were not there and in one second, you are there! And yes, this car is expensive!" sabi ko sa kanya nung nasa loob na kami ng kotse.

"Yung totoo? Ano ko multo? Bigla na lang nag materialize out of thin air? Wow, just wow!"

This girl is clearly in pain and I can't help but to laugh silently with her fighting spirit. May gana pa lumaban kahit alam ko na masakit ang kanyang braso.
