Owen
Everything was chaos once more, no one knew exactly what to do. Axel seemed lost for suggestions and if I was being honest I was right there with everyone, but that wasn't what everyone needed right now. They needed someone to lead them into this rescue mission and as team leader it was my job to step up and do so, taking a deep calming breath to cool my own nerves I did just that. "Let's get to work then. Mr. Lee I want you to get in touch with Dr. Roberts and see what they found out about the scene out front and report back." I commanded as Kota left the room in a hurry, counting under his breath, happy to have something to focus on for the moment.
"Mr. Morgan, Mr Henshaw see if you can track the most recent location of Ms. Sorenson's GPS coordinates, it's unlikely to give us her exact location but it gives us a place to start looking." I ordered as Victor and Corey nodded eagerly and started doing just that. "Everyone else get your things together and be ready for a rescue mission, we will find Ms. Sorenson and we will bring her back." I gave the command as the group rushed to follow my order, glad they no longer were doing nothing. Sean however stopped as we headed out the door and sent me a look that he knew I was struggling too.
"Don't worry Owen, we'll find her." Sean said, as my best friend he was the only one to really read me so well. I nodded back as we went our separate ways to ready ourselves for whatever might be in store, him to get his doctor things in case of injuries, me to collect whatever I might need to fight back against these kidnappers. I only hoped that when we did find her Sang would still be alive and in one piece, knowing the kind of men after her I wasn't holding out to much hope on the matter. I shook that thought from my head, I needed to stay strong for my team, just as I knew Sang would stay strong against her captors.
I just hoped she could hold out long enough for us to find her and get her out of wherever she might be. I was heading back to the security surveillance room to meet up with everyone when Vic and Corey came bursting out of it, nearly running into Raven and Axel. "Mr. B. we think we might have a possible location." Corey said, excitement was clear in his voice and hope flickered stronger inside me. "Explain." I urged as the others gather around eager to hear what the two had to say. "Well we checked the last known GPS coordinates like you said and that led us to a certain area of a not so great part of town. Then I looked into possible Russian contact areas and anything that might have stood out nearby there." Victor stated quickly, I nodded for them to continue.
"Well there's this one spot that stood out, it's a shipping company that may or may not be importing drugs in and out of state, there was an accusation a year or so back about the location doing so but the witnesses mysteriously disappeared." Corey added. We all nodded grimly, likely the witnesses mentioned were killed if we were dealing with the people we thought were behind this. "The place is an old rundown looking warehouse but the security looks top notch, the place looks like a perfect holding ground for any captives. The only downside other than the security is the size of the building, it's so big it might take a while to locate Sang inside if she's there at all." Victor finished as we all mulled over the fact in silence.
"We'll find a way, for my little bird." Raven growled as he reloaded one of his pistols. "Hate to say it but I agree with the crazy Russian, we can do this." Marc agreed and others quickly followed suit, myself included. So not knowing entirely what we were heading into but having some idea what we may be up against, we got ready to rescue our bird, and we wouldn't give up until we got her back.
Sang
Who, what, when, where, and why, the five W's I was working on figuring out right now. I had been unpleasantly woken up from my unconsciousness by the pain in my side only to find what I hoped had been a nightmare really wasn't. A few of the questions were easy enough to answer, others, not so much but I did my best. 'Who' had kidnapped me? The four crud-tastic goons. 'What' condition was I currently in regarding my injuries? That one I couldn't be completely positive about considering with the only light being a single dim bulb I couldn't really get a good look, but I was bleeding for sure, and it hurt like h*ll.
'When' had I been taken, and for how long? I had been playing on my phone at the time and I think my phone clock was around 10:20 in the morning as time of capture, checking the phone clock now (thankfully no one noticed it hidden in my bra) it was right around noon, so I'd been gone for close to two hours. The guys had to know I was missing by now for sure, or I certainly hope they did. 'Where' was I? A very good question since my phone wasn't telling me since I was apparently out of any service range so that was useless other than giving me the time, but I appeared to be in a very dark and creepy basement of what I assumed was a warehouse of death, inside a homemade jail cell.
And the last 'w' question was, 'why' had I been kidnapped? Well because I had been stupid enough to leave Slou on a bathroom counter when I had more than one deranged psycho killer out to get me. I still couldn't believe I had been so careless, I was losing my touch, and that was not okay. I sighed as I set about investigating my surroundings which weren't much, rusty looking old iron bars, cement floor, dim light-bulb, a prison style toilet and sink, and a nasty looking cot which I was not planning on sleeping on in hopes of avoiding any diseases.
I was quick to decide my next plan of action being to find some way to slow if not stop the bleeding of my side entirely. I was glad I had tied a white cotton sweater around my waist in case of cool weather, now it would serve as a good bandage. I only hoped Gabe would forgive me for ruining the poor thing as I set about cleaning and dressing my wound the best I could with what I had, despite the dim lighting. When I was finished I rinsed away the blood off my hands the best I could, picked the cleanest spot on the floor, and sat down to think.
I didn't know for sure that my red line to the boys had gone through but either way when they figured out I was missing they would come looking for me. I wasn't about to just wait around for them to come get me though, it wasn't my style, I would do my best to find my own way out of this h*ll-hole. So with that thought in mind I started making plans for different solutions to possible situations I might soon face inside of here. My mind was being put into overdrive despite the slight dizziness I still felt from being drugged, and I wasn't about to quit anytime soon. I was thinking of ways I might be able to use something from the nasty cot to my advantage against an attacker when the creaking of a metal door sounded through the room. Someone was coming, time to be on alert for anything that might happen, ready to fight my way out of here in any way possible.
