I was somewhat reluctant to go to Axel's apartment since my presence there may put them in even greater danger, but on the other hand if I was there I would be able to protect them to the best of my ability. I decided not to mention that I had hidden my two handguns in my bag amid my clothes and had Slou in her regular spot on my person, like I told Stitch I was ready for a fight if I had to be. I made a deal with the guys that if I could take Harper with me then I would leave my poor Jeep here for now, they eventually agreed but said I would be riding with them and having Brandon drive Harper over.

I didn't love the idea but I knew they had there reasons, and at least I knew Harper was somewhat safe with the sad eyed twin, she had survived one ride with him already. "Well Ms. Sorenson, we have to get things cleared up here but the Toma team should take good care of you." Owen said, his eyes held a certain softness to them that threatened to draw me in and drown me. "Da." Raven agreed with a grunt, at least I could be certain the Russian had my back. So we all said goodbye to the Blackbourne boys and I climbed into the backseat of Axel's SUV, handing Brandon Harper's keys. I was sitting beside Corey with Raven in shotgun and Axel driving, the 30 minute ride was a mostly silent affair, no one seemed in much of a mood to talk about the incident at my place.

I had started to doze off when Axel announce that we had arrived, I eagerly searched out the window for the building that would be my temporary living arrangement. I was met with THE SARGENT JASPER in somewhat faded but also bold lettering, so this is where these guys lived? I slowly got out of the car and silently followed the boys inside to the elevator, taking in my surroundings and any possible exit or entry points as we went through the main part of the building. "The place isn't much, but you'll be safe here." Axel said as he caught me ogling a suspicious looking plant beside the elevator, before it arrived and we all stepped in.

Marc pushed the button for the fifth floor and I stood in silence as we headed up, when the doors opened I took note that this level was more modernized in certain ways and my interest was peaked. I followed the boys with a new found spring in my step as Axel stopped at one of the doors, I watched them all curiously. "Is this it then?" I asked curiously. "We stay here but the twins have a unit a few doors down, but usually we all just hang here." Marc answered with a shrug, so three of them lived in this unit and two lived in another, okay. Axel sighed as he unlocked and opened the door and I followed the guys inside, I couldn't help when my jaw dropped at what I saw before me.

The place was deceivingly huge, it looked more like a condo than a tiny apartment, which I hadn't been expecting at all. "Wow." I breathed out in awe, the place was amazing. "Like Axel said it's not much." Corey murmured softly at my side and I gave him an incredulous look. "Are you kidding this place is amazing?!" I gaped back as I took in the beanbags, the couches, the huge flat-screen TV with various gaming systems and the beautiful dining room, it was great from what I could see and I had only taken a few steps inside so far. "We did some renovations of our own." Brandon chuckled as I dropped my bag and rushed towards some of the gaming systems.

"Ooo, I love Jackbox games!" I was fan-girling over the guys set up, so much so that I was pulling a 'Luke in a candy store' moment. I was so busy bouncing between the awesomeness that the place had to offer that I almost didn't catch the look the boys were sharing. "So I take it you like the place?" Marc's amusement was clear in his voice as I nodded like a crazy bobble head. "Thanks for letting me stay, this is way better than any stupid Academy safe house." I smiled as I rushed over and gave each of them a quick hug, Raven nearly hugging the air from my lungs as Axel cleared his throat to get our attention.
