                                                         Sang

"Sang go ahead and take a break, I don't think I've ever seen anyone work so hard. The breakfast rush is over, you should have at least an hour before the lunch rush pushes in." Uncle said kindly as he placed a hand on my shoulder before pulling away, why was it I did not feel the need to shy away? "Okay, Uncle." I sighed, I hadn't taken into account how exhausted I really was, no sleep can really get to a person, but I worked through it. "Well, how is kitchen life?" Gabriel asked as I went to sit at an empty table with a groan, he and Luke were the ones taking orders while I had to make the food with Silas and North.

"Fun, but exhausting. What about you, how's the server life?" I questioned back as he sat across from me. "Good I guess..." He trailed off in a way that made me think there was something more to be said. "But?" I urged with a questioning brow. "Well Sang I have come to learn that people are like art, some are beautiful priceless pieces." Gabriel said as he looked to me with something bright lighting his icy gaze. "And the rest?" I asked softly, it was as if these boys had put me under a spell. "The rest are f***ing sh*tholes." Gabriel huffed, and at the look on his face I couldn't help but snicker, he beamed a smile at me in return.

"Now that, I can agree on." I sighed, a yawn escaping me, I really needed to get over these nightmares before I lost my mind. "You weren't sh*ting about being exhausted, you know you don't have to work yourself to death." He chuckled out the words but I still saw the concern in his eyes. "I need this job Gabriel, it's the only good one around and I need the money." I groaned again as I stretched my aching body, Gabe mumbled something I didn't catch. "What?" I questioned, he shook himself in response. "Nothing, I was just wondering what you needed the money for?" He asked curiously.

"Well food, gas and paying bills are important, plus my new house needs a slight makeover." I listed out as, he seemed suddenly very interested in what I was saying, more so than usual anyway. "Stop, Sang, what have you done?! I heard new house, and makeover, abort your words, you don't know what he's capable of!" Luke screeched as he playfully shook my shoulder, sitting down beside me. "Leave Sang alone Lucian." North grunted as he and Silas joined the party, apparently everyone was on break now. "Lucian?" I questioned. "My full name is Lucian Taylor but everyone calls me Luke, well everyone other than Mr. B. does anyway." Luke explained, raising another question.

"Who is Mr. B.?" I never heard of him before, but I had only been in town a few days. "Don't worry about that now, what's this about a f***ing house makeover?" Gabriel waved away my question with one of his own. "Well when I got here a friend of mine decided to give me a house since he moved a few towns over." I smiled with a sigh, crazy Will. "A guy friend gave you a house?" Gabriel questioned as frowns graced the group. "Yeah, Will's crazy like that but he had already moved out to be with his girlfriend/fiance, so he gave me his old house." I shrugged as the frowns were replaced with grins, the look was a bit strange on North but I was not complaining, Mr. Broody was even hotter when he smiled.

"The house is sort of a giant bachelor pad, I happen to love the downstairs half but the upstairs needs some work." I sighed wistfully, thinking of all the ways I could fix it up, but how to choose just one? "Like what kind of work?" Gabriel was practically sitting on the table he was so intensely curious. "I told you to abort, you don't know what kind of monster you have created." Luke shook his head sadly. "I highly doubt Gabriel is that bad Lucian." I crossed my arms as three snorts were my response, okay everyone but Gabe is now a horse I take it.
