                                                  Sang

I was awake by 3:30. The sedative Phil had given me had completely worn off and now I felt like one giant pin cushion, but the pain wasn't as bad as last night so I would deal with it. I quickly set about getting the sedative ready for what I needed it to do, luckily I had been taught about injections and things by Phil. I set up fourteen doses that would last long enough for me to get gone and I knew Phil wouldn't tell the guys anything about where I'd gone off to. I put the loaded up needles into a small container as I slid out of the office silently, all fourteen of the boys slumped over somewhere in the room outside, I couldn't believe they's stayed.

I shook off the slightly sentimental thought at the idea that bloomed in my mind before getting to work at 'sedating' the guys. I worked quickly but carefully so as not to wake them, knowing exactly where to place the needle for maximum sedation, also where they were unlikely to feel me stick them with the needles. I had a small scare with the Russian but he hadn't been awake like I'd thought just talking in his sleep about killing fools and birds or something like that, after the last sedative was done I set a timer for five minutes as I waited for it to take full effect, heading back into Phil's office in case they woke up before then.

When the timer went off I exited the office once more with a sigh, surveying the group of boys for one last time, I was going to miss them, miss this. I quietly placed the note I'd jotted out last night on the table in the middle of them all, then without another thought I headed out, not looking back. I knew if I turned back now I wouldn't be able to leave, even if it meant saving their lives, I'd grown weak for them and that was going to cost me a part of myself, but I would survive the loss, somehow.

I went to the parking garage, singling out Uncle Phil's parking spot and the Harley Davidson beside it, a note with the words 'Be Careful' jotted in Phil's handwriting stuck to the handle bars. I smiled as I grabbed the note and tucked it into my go bag, not missing the large wad of cash he had added to my things. I had one more thing I had to take care of before leaving though, my cell phone, I sighed down at it before laying it on top of a concrete block, traceable or not I couldn't have anyone finding me with it.

I shouldered my go-bag despite the pain at doing so and stiffly climbed on top of Harper before heading to the airport, it was a painfully long ride but I made it with plenty of time to spare. I made sure Harper would be loaded onto the plane properly before I dissolved into the crowd of faces that were coming into work or catching and un-boarding flights. So buying a few snacks for the trip with some of the cash Phil had given I settled in to wait for my flight time.

                                                           North

I woke to the moaning and groaning of the group, only to find I wasn't feeling so hot myself either. "Ugh, why does it feel like I just drank a pack of beer, without the wanting to barf part?" Brandon groaned out as he rubbed tiredly at his face, others quickly agreed they felt the same, including myself. I rubbed my own sleep from my eyes only to notice a piece of paper on the table next to a container of needles, that was strange. "Uh, Sean what's with all the needles?" I asked as my brother huffed but looked at them more closely, suddenly he wasn't looking so tired but still a little wobbly.

"It's sedative, we've been sedated." Sean gaped out. "Well that would explain why I feel like cr*p." Gabe grunted out. "But who sedated us?" Silas yawned out as Owen picked up the folded piece of paper and opened it, he seemed fine until a frown crossed his face and suddenly I wasn't so tired anymore either. "What is it?" Sean questioned in a rush as everyone keyed in on his anxious tone, waking us all up quite effectively. "It's a note, from Ms. Sorenson." he said slowly as his eyes continued to scan the paper.

"Well what does Cupcake say?" Luke asked, even he was looking a little worried. "Mr. B. read it out loud please so we can here what she has to say." Victor spoke softly but all of us waited intently. "Dear guys, you've all been wonderful to me but now that has to end. You're all in danger and I don't think I can help you anymore, so I'm leaving...." curses spewed from my mouth and others as Mr. B. continued.

"I can't tell you why and I can't tell you where, but please know I'll be alright, I don't want to be found so please don't try. You've been the best group of friends any girl could hope for so thank you for that. I'm sorry about drugging you but I knew you wouldn't let me leave without doing so, it won't last forever but you shouldn't drive too soon after you wake up, don't need any crazy Russians causing accidents again. I'm going to miss you guys, take care of yourselves, and please don't hate me. Sang." Mr. B. finished as he gently laid the note on the table and all h*ll broke loose.

"We have to go after her it isn't safe!" I shouted out. "Little bird is strong, she will not leave us." the Russian could say something half smart for once. "It must have been the kidnapping that set her off about being in danger again, but what does she mean by not being able to help us anymore?" Kota noted out in a hurry. "She's been trying to protect us from the beginning, getting kidnapped must have made her think she wasn't able to do so anymore so she's taking herself out of here in hopes the troubles will follow, keeping us safe." Nate said lowly. "Keeping us safe, but what about her?!" Marc called out.

"Aggele mou doesn't want us to find her because she feels... unworthy?" Silas questioned out. "Well that's a load of sh*t!" Gabe hollered out, had to say I agreed on that. "Think about it, with her background she probably feels she's gone soft and needs to go back to the way she was." Axel reasoned out. "The way she was though, it wasn't a good place to be." Corey murmured out, we all nodded at that. "We will find Ms. Sorenson whether she wants us to or not." Mr. B.'s words brought relief to the group but it didn't last long.

"Then you best get a move on, by 6 you'll have lost the chance entirely." Dr. Roberts said solemnly to us as we looked to him in question. "You know where she went?" I asked roughly, I wasn't entirely against beating the answer out of him. "I do, but if I told you she would never forgive me. I can only say you have until 6 and that's a little more than an hour from now, so if you want to get her back, move." Robert's was giving us an order but all he did was nod and enter his now empty office.

"She probably has her weapons with her so wherever she's heading it will have to be by a mode of transportation that won't ask that many questions." Raven nodded to himself thoughtfully as Corey and Vic typed away at their computers. "I might have something here, a cargo plane is leaving for Arizona at 6 this morning, but the airport's a ways away." Corey called out. "That has to be it, if I know Pookie at all she's heading as far away as possible." Sean nodded. "Well let's go get our bird back then." Brandon said as he rushed for the doors. "WAIT!" Luke called out.

"What Lucian?" I growled I had made it half way out by then before turning back to my brother. "We still have sedatives in us, Cupcake wrote we shouldn't drive we might cause an accident." Luke gulped out. "I'll drive but I can only take four of you, I suggest muscle since she will put up a fight." Phil said as he entered the room. I stepped forward quickly with the Russian, Silas and Nathan, we were all ready to get our bird back safely.

"Fine we'll be waiting at Mr. B.'s and Sean's place since it's closest, we should be able to catch a bus or walk there." Brandon yawned out as the team leaders nodded in confirmation then we were following Robert's into the parking garage. I didn't miss Sang baby's phone sitting on a nearby concrete block before I climbed into the backseat with Silas and Nate. "I'll get you there but you'll have to go in on your own, and I wish you luck, you will need it." Robert's nodded to us before he hit the gas as we headed for the airport in a rush, it was going to be a long tense ride, but at least the Russian wasn't driving.
