"Sit here." Imbeta sa akin ni Emaya at umupo nga ako sa tabi niya. We are in a rounded table and they have their laptops with them.

"Anyways, I called your attention here today dahil sa nalalapit na midterms at Intramurals. As for midterms, we need to pass through 70%. This is a suicide actually, pero alam kong kaya natin. Right?" sabay kaming tumango.

"The school will not implement this kung alam nilang hindi kaya ng mga estudyante nila." Ani Rhaye.

"That's true. Kaya naman starting today until midterms, no one is allowed to party, go out or stroll around after school hours. Kapag tapos na klase mo, uwi agad sa bahay at mag-aral. Clear?"

Clear. I will sacrifice things for midterms.

Biglang pumasok sa isipan ko si Ast.

"After this short meeting, I want you guys to relay this to your group."

Napatingin ako sa digital clock. Almost 7AM na. May P.E class pa ako ngayong 7:30.

"Second, the intramurals. The reason why I called Ms. Thedessa is to ask her kung okay lang ba na sumali ka sa Miss Intramural."

Napailing ako agad sa sinabi ni Gean. No! Ayaw ko na.

"Can I butt in? I think hindi na allowed si Des na sumali, G. Nanalo na siya at may titulo na." singit ni Emaya.

"May rules ba na ganoon?" tanong ni Gean.

"I'm not sure pero feeling ko mayroon."

"If that's the thing, then let's exclude Des on this. Hanap na lang tayo ng iba. How about Trina? Please talk to her regarding this matter, Rhaye." Thank goodness!

"Noted, G."

"So, ikaw Des, mag focus ka na lang sa midterms at sa charity house. Babalik ka weekend doon di ba?" Tumango ako.

"Mag-isa ka lang Des?" tanong bigla ni Tranchere.

Umiling ako. "Hindi po."

"I feel so old. Huwag mo nga akong i-po." Natawa kami sa sinabi niya. "Kasama mo boyfriend mo?" nakangiti silang nakatingin sa akin.

I smiled. "Of course! Sino pa ba? Basta after that, uwi aga sa bahay at mag-aral. Fasting muna kayo ni Ast." Gean cut them. Uminit ang pisnge ko sa sinabi niya. At bakit nasali na naman si Ast dito?
