November 23rd, Luna and Liz had somehow managed to get Mia out of the bedroom she had at Luna's house, and to her own family's get together. Mrs.Lancaster had been checking in on the girl ever since she didn't return home that first night, Luna able to provide updates for the worried mother, despite most days only being able to send "she's been locked in the room all day, but I left her food." The only time Luna saw her best friend like this was with Anthony, and she hated it then, and she hates it now. She wishes she could just wave some magic wand and give all the happiness in the world to Mia, because she didn't deserve to be sad the way she was.

After dropping Mia off at her childhood home, and promising to pick her up when she texted she wanted to leave, Luna arrived at her own home. Thanksgiving was a small holiday in her family, each family keeping the holiday strictly them, meaning Luna was going to be having dinner with her mother, two siblings and niece.

She was immediately met by the smell of turkey, making her frown slightly as she kicked off her shoes beside the door. Her presence was immediately noticed as she entered the kitchen, where Andrew was swatting away Victoria's hand, mumbling something about the woman interfering with his craft. Diana was rocking Elena, letting out a sigh of relief when Luna stepped in.

"Who made turkey tradition?" Luna mumbled bitterly, smiling slightly when her mother pressed a kiss to her cheek. She gave Andrew a kiss on the cheek as she passed, taking hold of Elena as Diana eagerly handed her over. Diana was quick to slump against the closest seat, mumbling something about Luna being an angel in the form of her sister.

Luna rolled her eyes at the dramatic act, rocking the small baby, who's little hands wrapped around a button on her shirt. "How long till we eat?" Luna asked, her gaze still focused on Elena, who stared up at her with big brown eyes. Luna poked out her tongue, earning a toothless smile from the baby.

"Ten," Andrew answered, swatting away his mother's hand once more. "Might be twenty if Mami doesn't stop being a control freak."

Luna chuckled at the two, leaving the kitchen and seating herself in the living room. She just sat down when her phone began ringing, the sudden loud noise making Elena's eyes gloss up. Luna was quick to coo at the baby, swiping to the right to the answer the facetime call. She glared at Tom's face on her screen, seeing he was looking to the side, completely unaware that he'd brought Elena close to tears.

"Hey idiot." His head snapped to her, a small smile settling on his lips. "You almost made the baby cry," She scolded, leaning her phone against the lamp on the table beside her. Luna proceeded to lift up Elena to the camera, watching as her boyfriend cooed at the baby. Sure, she was only a few months old, but Elena could recognize people by now. So hearing Tom, a familiar face, coo at her and make funny faces at the camera, Elena wore a large grin.

Luna didn't bother trying to stop the smile that spread on her face as he tried his hardest to get the girl to giggle. It was one thing to be the perfect boyfriend, but seeing a male that could coo at a baby with no shame whatsoever was something else. With days of consoling her heartbroken friend, she really needed the sight of Tom waving his hands around, a grin present on his face when the baby finally let out a laugh.

"Why do you look like that?" He asked the girl.

She didn't hesitate to respond, "Because you're gonna be a great dilf one day." An amused smile spread on Tom's face while Diana yelled out a "gross" from the kitchen. Luna rolled her eyes at this, bouncing Elena on her leg. "So, did you call for a reason, or just to say Happy Thanksgiving?"

Tom nodded, shifting slightly, before leaning his head on his hand. "How's Mia?" Luna didn't even have to respond, her smile slowly fading into a frown at the question, giving him his answer. "That bad?" Luna nodded. "Harrison's pretty upset, though he won't admit it." Truth was, while Harrison was the one that called a quits, that didn't mean it hurt him any less. It wasn't easy going from texting and calling everyday to not talking at all, all he knew of the girl was what Luna told him, and that hurt more than he thought it would. Mia was as big a part of him, as he was to her.

"I got her out of the room today," Luna mumbled, bouncing the baby on her leg. "I've never seen a room so... emo. The curtains were drawn so it was really dark, and pillows were all over the floor, along with tissue boxes. It was the saddest thing I've ever seen."

Tom frowned, the image he created in his head leaving him uneasy. Mia was his friend too, and hearing that she wasn't her normal chirpy, bubbly self put a damper on his mood. "She'll be okay," Tom sighed, though he knew he was more so trying to convince himself, rather than Luna.

Luna pursed her lips, but nodded. Mia would be okay eventually, she'll push through, and when she does, Luna will be there beside her. Luna turned when Andrew poked his head in, smiling sheepishly. "Food's on the table. Say bye to my brother."

She rolled her eyes, handing Elena over to her older brother, before he disappeared into the other room. Luna turned back to her phone, smiling slightly, "I have to go. I'll text you later, okay?"

Tom nodded. "Okay. I love you."

Her smile widened slightly, and she blew the boy a kiss, who pretended to catch it. "That was disgustingly cringey," Luna snickered.

"That's exactly why I did it."
