It was her birthday, and unlike 11 years ago, it wasn't started with her husband covering her in kisses and mumbled I love yous. Instead, she's woken up by a very grumpy Aiden complaining about his sister hogging the bathroom. Because, before she could do anything like celebrate or bask in the joy of turning another year old, she had to be a mother.

She shouldn't expect anything less at this point. Almost every morning started with Aiden and Kelsey arguing about something, which is why herself and Tom always rewarded Xavier with the title of the angelic child. It always seemed to be her that needed to tend to them, because there was no way any of them were going to attempt to wake up Tom while he was drooling all over his pillow. Their schedules were actually clear this year around, meaning the weight of tending to kids was lightened as Tom took on half of the responsibilities, sometimes more.

There was no denying they were the same Luna and Tom from fifteen years ago. Tom still brought up the dreadful tweet every chance he got, and Luna always responded by jokingly saying she wanted a divorce. They were both pleased to say they never even considered breaking up, of course fights happened here and there, but Tom knew to never let her sleep on bad terms. Even if it meant staying up until the early hours of the morning, they never ended a day on bad terms with one another.

It was something they learned after having Harrison crash on their couch for two days a few years back. He made the mistake of letting Mia sleep on a fight, thinking she needed her space, when in reality all she needed was him. He eventually went back to his house to find his five year old daughter Alexa comforting her mother, a pout on her lips as she did so. It wasn't their highest moment, and they vowed to never let it happen again, now stronger than ever.

Harrison was usually in the same boat as Luna, both their significant others being gone for months at a time to film. Harrison would often join her brunches with Zendaya and Liz, Liz giving him the title of a lonely housewife whenever Mia wasn't there. They were still together, taking a two year break from each other somewhere in the middle. Luna could remember Liz showing up at her house with a bag, and freshly tear stained face, informing that the two girls both agreed things were getting too serious too fast. The break lasted much longer than intended, but neither could find it in them to date someone else, so they eventually found their way back to one another. Now, they both wore a shiny ring on their left hands.

Now she stood in front of the stove, tending to the confetti pancakes on the stove. Arms wrapped around her torso, shocking her for a moment. "Happy birthday mommy!" Xavier grinning up at the woman, a piece of paper held in his hand. He stepped away from her, offering her the paper. "I made you a card."

Luna took the paper with a smile, ruffling the boys hair. "Thank you baby," She cooed, leaning down to kiss his cheek. "Why don't you get your brother and sister, I'm just about done."
