So the new Spider-Man actor, Tom Holland, turned 24 on Monday, and his girlfriend, Luna Giraldo, threw the greatest party. And it was great. I mean Tom was surprised by it, the snapchats of it looked fun, the cake was pretty, and let's not forget, they got freaking engaged!?

Trust me, we were just as shocked as you are. They announced their engagement with this picture, Tom posting it with the caption "Best birthday gift I've ever gotten."

Luna posted the same picture a while later with the caption "I guess now would be the time to decide wether I want to hyphenate or not."
The pair have been dating since summer of 2017, their mutual friend and fellow Spider-Man star, Mia Lancaster, setting them up.
Back in December, Mia told People: "The best thing I've ever done is set [Luna Giraldo and Tom Holland] up, they're so in love with each other."
It seems everybody is super happy for the couple. Diana Giraldo, Luna's older sister, commented: "So happy for you two, looks like I've got another little bro." Multiple celebrities, including the cast of the Avengers, have congratulated the couple on their engagement as well.
Not only are friends and family taking it well, but so are the fans. Only a hour after the instagram was posted, Tom Holland and Luna Giraldo were both trending worldwide on twitter. Though some fans were questioning the couple on their decision, the majority have voiced their support for the couple.
