I never put a label on myself in fear that the people I was surrounded by wouldn't like the label I decided on. But now I will say it proudly, I am bisexual. There was so many people that told me it was okay to be who I am, and now I'll tell you guys. It's okay to be who you are, because love is love, and that will always be true. Among those many people that told me it was okay was Liz Barns. I don't usually do this sort of thing, but she deserves this. Liz Barns is the single most incredible human being I've ever encountered, and I'm happy to call her my girlfriend. tagged: lizsbarn

"Gay was meant to be a rainbow!" Luna wailed, slapping the black marker out of Mia's hand. Mia glared at her friend as she reached for the red marker, careful to not smudge her hand over the words "congrats" and "you're."
Luna was the type of person to want everything in control. So throwing a last minute party was possibly her worst nightmare. It was only a small get together of just her friends, but that was enough to give her a headache and a few less hairs. She needed to prepare a nice meal for them, then she needed to search one of the spare rooms to see where she kept her impressive collection of old dvds, not to mention the decorations. It didn't help that Harrison was lounging on the couch, frustrating her.
Without thinking, she picked up a pillow and chucked it at the boy. He dropped his phone on his chest as a result, shooting Luna a glare. "Do something, anything!" The last thing she wanted to see is somebody not doing anything to help. With a grunt, Harrison got himself off the couch, walking past Luna with his head down to avoid her glare.
Maybe she was overreacting, but she couldn't help it. Today was a big day. Coming out wasn't something that was easy to do, it took Luna a couple years before she came out to her mom and sister. She had Andrew there to help her, and they came out together, making it seem a lot less nerve wracking. She just wanted to throw the cutest party to show Zendaya that she was as proud as a friend could be.
Tom stepped into his house quietly, a bunch balloons in his hand. He released the balloons in the kitchen before turning to Mia, who simply pointed in the direction of the living room, not even allowing the boy to ask his question.
Wandering over to the living room, he spotted Luna staring off, clearly deep in thought. He wrapped his arms around the girl from behind, making her snap out of her daze, her hands automatically going to his. "Did you get the balloons?" She sighed, craning her neck to look back at him.
Tom nodded, resting his chin on her shoulder. "You're way too stressed," He mumbled, Luna sighing in response. "Can I ask what you were thinking about?"
She rested her hand on top of his, looking around their living room before her gaze landed on a photo of her family. "Coming out," She replied. "I came out when I was 18, me and Andrew did it together." She could still remember her and Andrew arguing about how to do it. He thought they should do a grand gesture and do it quickly, while Luna thought they should sit down and talk. In the end, they somewhat compromised. Andrew got to do his grand gesture, walking into their house decked in rainbow from head to toe, before declaring that he liked men proudly. Luna would have gotten to sit down and talk if their mom wasn't already expecting it. Victoria barely bat an eye at Andrew, continuing to squint at the game on her phone, muttering something about already knowing. And after getting over the shock of her response to Andrew, she decided it was her turn to pipe up, just for Victoria to laugh and ask if she thought she was stupid.
Tom nodded, lifting his head to turn the girl around. "I think you coming out to me was one of my favorite conversations we've ever had." Luna rolled her eyes as a smile played on his lips, remembering her blurting out her joke about her sexuality during one of their 2am phone calls. She also remembers going to sleep with a smile on her face that night, happy with herself for picking such an accepting boyfriend. "You are so tense," He pointed out, his hands going to push her shoulders down. "You need to wind down."
Luna frowned. "But we haven't even-"
"Oh, do you hear that?" Tom's eyebrows knitted together, looking around the room in mock confusion. Luna stared at him blankly, before letting out a snicker as music began playing over the speaker. "Sounds like we're dancing."
"This isn't our usual," Luna mumbled as Tom lifted her arms to wrap around his neck, his own settling at her hips. On the speaker Paramore as playing, one of the many songs on the throwback playlist they made together.
"Are you complaining?" Tom rose an eyebrow as they began swaying in their living room. Luna bit the inside of her cheek to stop from grinning, shaking her head slightly. As the song continued, Tom began humming the words. It didn't take long for him to begin singing it aloud, and when he did, Luna was watching with a smile.
Mia slammed her marker down when she finished the banner, a pleased sigh leaving her lips. Then she heard the music playing. She dragged herself out of the kitchen, seeing Harrison was leant against the doorframe to the living room. She nudged him slightly when she stood beside him, and he looked down at her before looking back ahead. He was focused on Tom and Luna, Luna grinning widely at her boyfriend while the two danced in the middle of the living room, neither seeming to notice the two stood watching.
"They're so in love," Mia mumbled, looking from the couple to Harrison.
Harrison looked back at her, blue eyes meeting brown. "Yeah," He mumbled, feeling his heart thrash in his chest. "So in love."
NOT TOO MANY CHAPTERS LEFT SO I GOTTA GET A PRETTY BOW AND WRAP THIS SHIT UP
