Luna did not want Tom to leave.
That was pretty obvious from her deep frown, and how she wrapped herself around his leg, though that didn't do much seeing as Luna was tiny. After a few minutes, they managed to get the girl off of him, with the help of Liz, Mia, and Harrison of course.
Though the whole act seemed hilarious, their friends still decided to leave the room during their farewells, knowing how saddened the couple actually was. Tom was almost done filming, leaving only a month between him and Luna being able to see each other. But after so much time spent together, a month seemed so far away.
"Don't go," She whined, her entire body clinging onto him. Her head was buried in his neck, legs wrapped around his waist as she refused to let go. "Think about our child."
Tom cracked a smile, his hand rubbing circles on her back. "Babe, I have to go. I'll see you next month." Luna lifted her head, lips pouted. "I'm sure Rocket will be okay without me."
"But I won't," She sighed, and any sign of a smile on Tom's face faded, her words hitting him hard. "I just got you back, I don't want you to leave yet." It seemed like both forgot that just a few weeks ago, they weren't a couple. There was no facetime calls for almost a month, or weird 2am texts about nothing, there was no Tom and Luna. They were so quick to bounce back to their old ways it was like the break up never took place in the first place.
"You can't say stuff like that," He mumbled, pressing a kiss to her cheek. "You know I wanna stay, but-"
"You're too busy being a big movie star," There was humor laced in her tone, despite the frown on her lips. He smiled softly at her, purposely hoisting her up higher, making her let out a yelp. "Not funny," She scoffed, her hands gripping his shoulder. Her features softened as she held up one hand, her pinky high. "Promise we'll go house shopping when you finish."
A grin spread on his face, and he didn't hesitate to lock his pinky with hers. "Promise."
