When Luna was 15 years old, she was casted in the school's production of Little Shop of Horrors. She performed the entire show on opening night, feeling as if she was on top of the world. When she got off the stage, her brother and sister were waiting for her with flowers. They only just finished hugging her when 15 year old Liz Barns rushed up to her friend and squeezed the life out of her, congratulating her a million times.

It was only when Liz released her that she realized they were missing one person. Mia Lancaster.

Luna, being the paranoid person she is, assumed the worst and rushed home to check on Mia, just to be informed by her grumpy brother that his sister was on a date. So Luna waited for her, and when Mia came back, she found Luna sitting cross legged on her bed in pajamas. Usually an argument would break out, something along the lines of "you forgot my big night" would be spat at the girl. But Mia had been so quick to apologize that Luna decided to skip the arguing and just give the girl a second chance.

Mia Lancaster was given a second chance, and this time, she wouldn't mess it up.

Luna sighed as she got on her toes to place a plate on a higher shelf, only just finishing the dishes from the previous night. Tossing the towel to the side, she hopped onto the counter, seating herself comfortably.

"Luna!" She turned to the doorway as she heard the sound of running footsteps, followed by the jingling of Rocket's collar. Tom practically slid into the room, nearly crashing into the counter in the process. Luna stared at him with raised eyebrows as he attempted to compose himself, standing up straight and pretending to dust himself off. "Good morning," He smiled at her, casually making his way around the island to stand between her legs.

He leaned up for a kiss, but was met with Luna's hand instead. "You sounded too eager to get down here," She pointed out when he pouted. "Did you brush first?" He nodded, and Luna lowered her hand, leaning down to meet his lips. She pulled back with a slight smile, her hands resting on his shoulders. "So what's up?"

Tom grinned as he remembered why he risked his life by almost falling down the stairs. "Mia and Harrison are on a date."

It wasn't too hard to get Mia to Luna's house, all it took was a little fib about her leaving a sweater there the previous night. Then the moment she stepped in, she was led to Luna's bedroom, where three other girls were waiting for them.

Mia was immediately sat on the bed, the four girls staring at her expectantly. She knew why they were doing it, but she didn't want to share too many details. Usually she could careless about first dates, they were just icebreakers and a free trial. But, her second first date with Harrison was something she'd hold close to her for a while.

It was an in the moment sort of thing, edged on by Mia overthinking the way their eyes locked the previous day. She knew she was feeling envious of Tom and Luna when she saw them dancing, and being all loving. It's been a couple months of just being friends with Harrison, and each time she saw Tom and Luna being the way they are, she felt a pang in her chest as she remembered they were like that too. It's been months of longing looks, and sly comments, and it simply wouldn't do any more.

So she marched over to his room, and asked him to go on a date with her. The moment it came out of her mouth, her eyes widened in horror, not only because of what she blurted, but she forgot to knock. Harrison stood in shock in the middle of his room, clad in just his underwear. She wasn't sure who was redder by the time one of them was able to utter a word.

He eventually agreed, only after sending Tom a stream of text messages panicking. It was awkward at first, Mia's thoughts constantly going back to when she walked in on him. It was a bad thing to think about how much you missed sleeping with your ex-boyfriend while trying to get back together with him, and she knew that, but that didn't make her stop.

They eventually broke the ice when Mia sneezed, the sneeze so powerful her hair flipped over her head and she almost fell over. It was one of her many quirks, her inability to sneeze without being dramatic about it. It brought a smile to Harrison's face, and it made Mia question him, a quick conversation starter.

You would have thought they were just two friends hanging out, but as time passed, they became closer. They were both so caught up with hand holding, and laughing with each other, they seemed to forget that they weren't together. So when Mia went in to kiss him, it seemed completely normal, so he didn't pull back. It took a good few seconds for her to realize what she was doing, and she pulled back with wide eyes. It must have dawned on Harrison as well, for he matched her wide-eyed expression.

Then came the serious part. Their feelings. The conversation started out as a bunch of stutters, the two ridiculously flustered. Until Mia collected her and began.

She wanted to be together. She wanted them to be them again. But that just wasn't realistic. Harrison's heart was beating erratically as Mia spoke to him, and at one point, he grabbed onto her hand. He wasn't sure if it was to calm him down, or calm her down, but she intertwined their fingers with no reluctance.

He didn't know if he was happy or terrified by the fact that this girl had him so wrapped around her finger, but he decided not to think about it right now. As soon as Mia uttered the words "back together" forming a coherent thought wasn't an option anymore.

"So are you gonna give us details?" Luna grinned.

Mia bit the inside of her cheek, thinking for a moment, before shaking her head. "I'm not," She shrugged, all their faces falling. "But, we're back together. That's what matters."
