The night with her dad was cut short, seeing as both Tom and Luna forgot about their friend who was flying in that night. Andres wasn't upset about the night being cut short, him and Tom exchanging numbers, promising to finish their conversation there.

Now her, Tom, and Rocket were driving to JFK airport, a random spotify playlist playing quietly in the car. Tom was constantly glancing at his phone, scared that a text would pop up that he didn't want Luna to see.

At one point in the evening, Luna excused herself to use the bathroom. Tom knew she'd be in there for at least 10 minutes on her phone, so he decided to have a relatively serious conversation with her dad.

Tom sat up straighter, watching Luna's back until she disappeared down the hall and into the bathroom. He looked back to Andres, who had his eyebrows raised in question. "Everything alright?" Andres asked.

Tom nodded slightly, his fingers fiddling with a loose thread on his sweats. "Can I ask you something, and you give me an honest answer?" Andres hesitated, but nodded. Tom let out a sigh, his hands clasping together on his lap. "Do you think it's too soon to move in with Luna?"

Andres didn't know what he was expecting, maybe for her hand in marriage, or some weird question a dad shouldn't be asked, but he couldn't help but release his tense shoulders when Tom finally asked. "There's never a too soon, if you're thinking it's the right move, then it is. You know Luna as good as anyone." Andres glanced back to where the girl walked, before looking back to Tom. "I married Luna's mother after four months, trust me, it's never too soon."
