Good memories were always associated with Christmas season. Wether it was putting up ornaments with her dad when she was 5 years old, or getting back together with Tom after almost a month of being broken up. There only ever seemed to be joy during this time of year, and as years passed, it stayed that way.

Luna was sitting on her couch, a throw wrapped around her and hands wrapped around a mug of hot chocolate. There was a look of pure amusement on her face as she watched the twins marvel at the sight of their distorted reflections in a christmas ornament. Kelsey was sitting beside the tree, brows furrowed as she focused on untangling the lights they were going to be hanging outside.

Her eyes darted back to the twins when she heard giggling, the two now toying around with a plastic snowman. Xavier wasn't nearly as amused as Aiden seemed to be, and Luna and Tom always seemed to blame this on the fact that he was seven minutes older. Their labor had been much longer than Kelsey's, but this time around Tom was slightly less freaked out. Both of them had the same dark curls Kelsey did, but they got their parents' dark eyes, opposed to Kelsey's light eyes. They were mostly identical, except Aiden's face was scattered with freckles. Stand the three beside another, and it was fairly easy to see they were siblings, despite the tiny differences.

Luna's head was tilted back, and for a moment she was looking into soft brown eyes. It didn't last long, a loving kiss placed on her lips before she was released. A smile was playing on her lips as Tom made his way back into the living room, all three kids looking up upon his arrival.

"Are we ready?" He clapped his hands, the twins scurrying the stand up in excitement. "Babe, play some tunes and get us in the Christmas spirit." Luna grinned, unlocking her phone to play the Christmas playlist she created.

It only took an hour and a lot of whining, but the Christmas tree was done. Luna eventually got up to help, picking up the boys when they wanted to reach a higher part of the tree, while Tom helped Kelsey. It would have been done sooner, but they kept getting distracted by the music. There were times where Tom would stop to dance with Kelsey, or Luna would stop to dance with Xavier, or during All I Want For Christmas is You, where everybody stopped and was singing to each other while dancing around the room.

"I get to put up the star this year," Xavier clapped excitedly, lifting his arms up for Tom to pick him up.

Luna could see Aiden beginning to pout, so she scooped him up, planting a kiss on his cheek. With a bite of reaching and some assistance from Tom, the star was set on top of the three. Tom gestured for Kelsey to plug it in, and in a second, their living room was lit up with the bright lights of the tree.

"Now it's bedtime!" Luna grinned while all three kids groaned. She turned back to Tom, gesturing to the boxes. "You clean, I'm on bedtime duty."

"Whatever you say boss," He mockingly saluted her, Luna rolling her eyes.

Xavier and Aiden were the easy ones, though they wanted to act like they weren't tired, they fell asleep as soon as they were tucked in. Kelsey was a little harder, a pout on her lips as she got into bed.

"Can I ask you a question?" Kelsey asked while Luna sat herself at the end of her bed. She nodded, and Kelsey sighed. "Are you and daddy getting a divorce?"

Luna's chest tightened. "No. Where did you hear that?"

"At school," Kelsey replied, Luna's shoulders relaxing. "Almost all my friends don't have both a mom and dad, and they said I might not too. Is that gonna happen?"
