Annie pov: I didn't know how to respond I felt awful like I started having trouble breathing but i didn't know if it was from what I just found out about brennan or if I was actually struggling to breath.

K- Annie?
A- h-help
K- Ans what's going on
A- k-Kate I c-can't b-b-reath
K-I'm coming annie hang on

Katie pov: I sprinted down the hall and up the stairs as fast as I could taking my mom with me. I ran to the nurses station and grabbed one of them as I made my way to Annie's room. She's not breathing I need a crash cart! I heard the nurse yell beside me. The dragged us out of the room and when the doctor returned we got the news. She's stable but she has another tumor in her lungs. We can't operate on it. It's too risky. Just enjoy the next week or so with her. I'm sorry. The doctor walked a way and I fell into my moms arms. Once I composed myself I called Annie's mom.

K- mrs katie?
MK- katie sweetheart what's wrong
K- they found another tumor. They can't operate
MK- I'm on my way. Go keep her company don't freak her out though.

I hung up with mrs katie, composed myself and walked into Annie's room. Hey she smiled weakly. "Hey Annie" she had an oxygen mask on but they had disconnected her port and the only thing pumping through her IV was pain medication. How's bren? She asked "he's doing better. He's breathing" that's great she smiled. Hey Bobannie I hear as someone opens the door it's Caleb and mrs katie. What do you say we get you out of here Ans? He asks i looked at him confused but he gave me the just go with it look. I wish she smiled but I'm sick bub plus bren is here she answered.

Annie pov: about that Ans he said grabbing my hand. They found another tumor. They can't do anything about it but we are going to move hospitals. Take you to the best hospital there is. It's in Baltimore so it's a little ways away but they think they can help you. "No" I said looking down at my hands Annie it's what is best for you Caleb chimed in "I said no" come on ans can you please listen to us we are just trying to help. "I'm not leaving brennan" who said anything about brennan staying here he is on a helicopter right now katie said holding my hand. "Really" really. Now let's get going. I nodded my head and Caleb helped get me into a wheelchair. We got into the car and started our drive to Baltimore. I laid my head on katie and held her hand I squeezed it tight I didn't have to say anything but she knew exactly what I needed. I got you Ans you are going to be ok you are not going anywhere she said squeezing my hand back. I let a silent tear fall down my face but still remained quiet. We got to the hospital and they got me set up in a new room. They told me I was going to have to start something called MIBG therapy but I wasn't really paying attention my thoughts were all ok brennan they then moved me into another room and I got confused "what is going on" I asked my mom. Ans were you not listening? She asked "no" I shyly admitted. They are injecting you with radioactive fluid it's suppose to kill the cancer but you have to stay in bed for a couple a days. No visitors until the end unless they are behind the led walls. Sorry Annie. "W-what? I'm by myself. " not all the time but a majority yes it's too dangerous for us to be around you but this is really suppose to help you. "I guess" on the bright side my mom started smiling at me Brennan's awake. "Really! Can I see him!" Sorry but no therapy starts now and he can't be in here. You can FaceTime it's just a couple more days. I slumped down in my bed I was so not happy about this. No brennan no friends just me my phone and some led walls. They injected me with the fluid through my port and I was left alone I picked up my phone and called brennan. Hey I said slightly smiling when I saw his face

B: it's nice to hear your voice again I miss you
A: I miss you more than anything bren you have no idea.
B: so I have some pretty great news
A: you found a way to break me out and we can make a run for it tonight
B: no but I'll work on that. I'm cured 
A: BREN that's amazing news! I'm so so happy for you I just wish I could be there to hug you and kiss you. I miss kissing you
B: I miss it more than anything Ans. I miss holding you and snuggling you so much. I want our normal life back.
A: tell me about it
B: hey hey Ans don't cry we are going to be okay. Just a little while longer and I will see you I promise
A: I can't wait that long I really need you B
B: turn around.

I set down my phone and tears can streaming down my face. It was brennan standing in my room. Standing. He is ok. I couldn't believe my eyes. "B-bren" hey ans I'm right here. "I want to be in your arms so bad right now" I know I really do he said just a few days and I'm never leaving your side. I promise. "I can't wait" I smiled back. Brennan sat in a chair behind the lead wall and we talked about everything soon enough a nurse came in and took him away from me as he was getting exposed to too much radiation just as he left the room I got a FaceTime call.
B: didn't think you could get rid of me that easily did you?
A: not for a second
B: I'm really sorry about all of this Annie. I wish this wasn't our story
A: but it is bren. This is our story. It may not be a traditional love story but I love it. I love us
