Annie pov: I wake up in the morning from my phone ringing
A: hello?
I answered super groggy
B: hey princess you miss me
A: uh huh
B: what's wrong ans
A: nothing bren
B: come on what's wrong
A: I just don't feel good brennan I'm okay
B: Annie you could of just told me that I'm coming right now
A: bren don't. You are risking your health
B: Annie you are worth the risk you have always been
I smiled and set down my phone laying my head back on the pillow and closing my eyes

Brennan pov: I walked into Annie's room and saw her asleep she must really not feel good my poor ans. I walked behind the led walls and whispered for her to wake up but she wasn't I got worried and risked myself for her. I moved my hand in front of the led wall protecting me from radiation and put it over her heart. It was still beating. "Ans wake up I'm here" I said stroking her face "come on Annie wake up" still not responding I called her nurse in "she won't wake up" i said nervously. She's been throwing up all morning poor thing feels awful I'm sure she is just exhausted the nurse tells me. I calm down and smile over in Annie's direction. It looks like she is starting to move so I walked over to her said when I got there I saw her shaking. She was thrashing her body violently around her bed like she had no control over her body "woah woah Annie calm down your okay calm down" I said. She didn't respond "SOMEONE HELP" I screamed holding Annie on her side. Nurses came running in. She's having a seizure one of them yelled. Unhook her from the radioactive drip the other screamed. The wheeled her out of the room pushing past me. They left me there crying by myself. I called mrs katie

B: hey where are you
MK: at breakfast with hay why
B: um when you get a chance can you stop by?
MK: of course but what's going on
B: um I'd rather not have this conversation on the phone Ill talk to you when you get here I um gotta call katie. Text me when you get here
MK: ok we are on our way!
B: alright see you soon

I then called katie

B: hey Kate's
K: hey bren I was just about to call. When is Annie's treatment up?
B: um about that...are you available?
K: ya I'm just chillin with ry at home
B: you mind stopping by?
K: of course what's going on?
B: um just meet me here
K: of course I'm coming with Mom be there in 15
B: thanks Kate ily.

After I hung up with Katie a doctor showed up in Annie's room. We got her to be stable but we had to stop the radioactive treatment it was causing too much harm to her body. She is recovering in the PICU "thanks!" I said running out of the door and up to the PICU floor. "Annie LeBlanc?" I asked the nurse sitting at the desk. Room 23 she replied. I ran into her room and she was asleep on the bed I walked to her side and got into bed with her and held her close not ever wanting to let go again. "I'm glad we get to do this again I love you Ans" I whispered into her hair she was still out cold. My phone dinged with a text from mrs katie

MK: hey bren I'm in Annie's room and neither of you guys are here where did u go?
B: um floor 8
MK: what is floor 8 we haven't been there
B: um the pediatric intensive care unit
MK: WHAT! WHY?
B: just come up here I'll explain she's still out.
MK: coming!

What happened! Mrs katie kind of yelled before realizing that Annie was asleep "she's ok...she had a seizure they had to stop treatment it's hurting her more then helping. We are kind of out of options..." tears had begun to run down my face "I-can't lose her..." I said balling throwing myself in mrs katie's arms it's going to be okay bren we are going to figure this out she said embracing me tighter

Suddenly my phone began to ring in my pocket it was katie

K: bren where r u. Why is Annie not in her room
B: come up to floor 8 I'll explain
K:coming! 

About a minute later katie came sprinting down the hall she was shouting my name "woah Kate calm down" brennan what is going on why am I in the PICU where is Annie?! "Katie I need you to cal-" NO! Fuck that brennan where is my bestfriend "katie she's ok please be calm and let me explain" katie nodded and I told her what happened
