They pulled into Sioux Falls, and Dean parked the car outside of the diner, Karoline and Sam decided to stay back to settle into a hotel and start in on some research about the town and some possible Zombie lore, seeing as that was the way the case was looking. What case? Sam had caught wind of a case right in Bobby's home town about a man who claimed he watched a dead man kill another guy. Alayna was all for it, in fact she'd been meaning to swing by and check in on the two men, but with everything that had been happening she never really had the time. Now there was a case at their door step, luck must have been on her side.

She dialed her Dad's number again. It rang, but no one answered. "Dad, when you get this message, call, okay?" She said. Then she hung up, sighing as she followed Dean's lead and got out of the car.

Dean followed. "Is he still not home? How far can he get in that chair?" They entered the diner, Dean holding the door open for the brunette as she stepped

"So, what do we do?" She asked quietly.

"Well... I guess we just do it ourselves," Dean shrugged. The diner wasn't very crowded, and a man sat at the far booth. Dean and Alayna sat down opposite of the man, who had long, greasy hair and a beard growing in . "Mr. Wells? Agents Dorfman and Neidermeyer; FBI." Mr. Wells studied them, then nodded.

"You said you witnessed a murder. Is that right Mr. Wells?" Dean addressed the unkept-looking man. "Why don't you tell us what you saw in your own words."

"Call me Digger." The man looked over at Dean then changed his gaze to Alayna, his eyes lingering on her a little longer than Dean was comfortable with.

"Digger? Who gave you that name?" Dean drew Digger's attention back to him.

"I did."

"You gave yourself your own nickname?" Dean glanced at Alayna who was biting back a smile at the look on his face. "You can't do that."

"Who died and made you queen?" Digger shot back.

"Okay," Alayna broke the tension with a polite smile. "Um, why don't you just tell us what you saw."

"I saw Clay Thompson climb in Benny Sutton's trailer through the window. Couple of minutes later, Clay comes out, and Benny's dead."

"And uh," Dean held up the photo of Clay he had pulled out of the papers, "you're sure this is the guy?"

"Well, he was all covered in mud, but yeah, that's Clay."

Alayna shifted in her seat, looking over at Dean hesitantly than back at the man across from her, "And you are aware Clay Thompson died five years ago?"

"Yep."

"And you're positive this is the guy?" Dean shook the photo at him again for good measure

"Are you calling me a liar?" Digger snapped.

"No, no, no. Of course not," Alayna was the one to quickly break the tension, again. She sat forward on her elbows offering him another smile, using her Bambi eyes to her advantage. "Look. Can you think of any reason why Clay Thompson, alive or dead, would want to kill Benny Sutton?"

Digger scoffed at her question, tossing her a disbelieving smile, "Hell, yeah." Alayna gave him a prompting look, urging him to go on. "Well, five years ago, Benny's the one that killed Clay in the first place."

Dean looked over at Alayna, looking a little startled at the blatant accusation, "Is that a fact?"

"Well, yeah, so-called "hunting accident'," Digger rolled his eyes, making it clear to Alayna that he didn't believe the cover story. "Now, if you ask me... Clay came back from the grave to get a little payback."
