"Alayna it is literally 6 in the morning," Karoline groaned as she dropped her head onto the table. It was the first time in weeks they weren't getting up at the crack of dawn to start on a hunt and Alayna decided today would be a good time to wake her up early that morning to talk about Elijah's visit to the blonde and dreams Lucifer wormed himself into.

Alayna shrugged, pushing the cup closer to her, her face saying she wasn't about to back down any moment soon, "I'm not going to pretend like everything is okay. You were visited by Elijah and Lucifer. Why?"

"Don't we have more pressing issues to worry about," Karoline tried to change the subject. "Like you being Lucifer's human sacrifice."

Alayna rolled her eyes, "Elijah promised to keep me and everyone else safe as long as we played by his rules. You're turn."

"It was nothing," Karoline took a long sip of the hot coffee, loving the way the heat soothed her throat. "Lucifer was trying to get me to tell him where I am and Elijah said he didn't want him to ever know. That he wanted to protect me."

"Why?" Alayna frowned.

Karoline opened her mouth to tell her about the bond she had with the Angels, what drew them in to her. But, then she'd have to go into details about her dream with Lucifer and she wasn't ready to open that up just yet. "Um, I don't know. Probably to hold up his end of the deal with you."

Alayna narrowed her eyes slightly, clearly not believing her, but whatever she was about to say was cut off by a gunshot next door. They both shared a wide eyed look, Alayna grabbed her gun off the desk and ran out the door with Karoline following. The brunette kicked down the door and barely got to raise her gun before she was shot as well, and she fell to the ground gasping in pain.

Karoline stopped in the doorway, her jaw dropped as she took everything in. In the center stood two hunters that she instantly recognized, "Roy? Walt?" She frowned at them. Then her eyes turned to the two boys who were on the bed, dead and she sucked in a sharp breath feeling her heart beat pick up. Her blue eyes flashed dangerously.

"Kill her," Walt instructed.

Roy hesitated, "killing Sam was right," he began. "This all just got out of hand, we can't...?"

"She knows us, and we just snuffed her sister and her Winchester's, you idiot. You want to spend the rest of your life knowing Karoline Van Allen's on your ass?" He asked with a hint of fear in his voice that would've made Karoline smirk if it weren't for the current situation. The only thing that kept her from succumbing to the rage the burned inside of her was the fact that she knew they would all be back.

Karoline turned to Roy and her eyebrows shot up. "Go ahead, Roy, do it" she challenged. "But I'm warning you, when I come back, I'm going to be pissed. C'mon! Let's get this over with already." Her eyes burned with anger.

"Come on already," Walt grumbled. The shot rang through the silent room as the blonde fell to the ground just the same as Alayna did.

When Dean woke up, he was sitting in the Impala with the song 'Knockin on Heaven's Door' playing on the radio. It was dark outside as he stepped out and heard the trunk slam down. He spun around to see a younger version of Sam, maybe 12 or 13, standing there holding a bunch of fireworks.

"Sammy?" He breathed out in shock.

"Come on, let's go! The girls are waiting for us!" Sam cheered and took off running.

Dean watched him go, completely and utterly confused, "weird dream," he muttered, but otherwise followed his little brother.

They reached an open field where he could see Alayna's familiar long brown hair, except she was also younger, around Sam's age. She shot up from where she was sitting and turned to the two boys with a wide grin. "We gonna do this?" She asked, excitedly.
