"What the Hell is wrong with you?" Dean snapped, standing between the study where Tom, Bobby, and the girls were and the kitchen where Sam was.

"Dean-" Sam frowned.

"No, don't 'Dean' me," Dean snapped. After Sam told him the plan they had come up with Dean just about lost it. The plan where Sam says yes to Lucifer and leads him into the cage and then Karoline and Alayna participate fully in the sealing ritual. "You guys have had some stupid plans in the past, but this-" he broke off shaking his head. He looked at the girls. "We'll find another way."

"Dean..." Karoline began, but Alayna spoke up.

"No." She shook her head. "Dean, there is no other way."

"You can't do this." Dean snapped, looking around at the three of them.

"That's the consensus." Sam muttered.

"Alright, awesome. Then conversation over."

Karoline took over before a fight could start. "All right, how do we seal the cage?" She asked, turning to look at Elijah who was standing stoically by the window.

"Well, the ritual itself is relatively straight forward. The ingredients, so to speak, you already know..." Elijah trailed off.

"The rings." Sam said and the Angel nodded.

"A witch will channel the power from the rings and open the cage."

"And where do I fit into it?" Alayna asked quietly and Karoline took her hand.

"The final part of the ritual." Elijah murmured as he opened a small wooden box on the coffee table nearby. "The blood of the doppelganger must be spilled over the cage... To the point of your death."

"And Karoline?" Sam asked and Dean's eyes landed on Elijah.

The Angel shifted slightly. "I don't know all the exact details myself. The Telum Caelestis is one of the rarest beings to find - there have only ever been four throughout time - and using one requires a technique that only the highest ranking Angels are even aware of. I do know however that it won't be pleasant for her."

"But could she die?" Dean asked, his voice rough, his arms crossed.

"I don't honestly know, which is why I prefer that she remains out of all of it."

Alayna nodded. "And that's where you come in."

"This is an elixir that I acquired some 500 years ago for Caterina." He told them, showing them a crystal bottle. "It possesses mystical properties of resuscitation."

"So, I'll be dead?"

"And then you won't." Elijah answered with a smile and she nodded too.

"That's your plan?" Dean scoffed, angrily. "A magical witch potion with no expiration date?" He looked at Alayna. "What if it doesn't work, Alayna?"

"Then I guess I'll just be dead." Stunned, Dean looked from Sam to Karoline to Alayna, but none of them corrected it. Scoffing, he turned and stormed off. Sam sighed and went to find him. Alayna sighed. "You'd think he'd understand why I'm willing to do this."

"Why are you?" Elijah asked softly.

"I'm the key to sealing the cage. If I don't stop him, then he's going to hurt people. It's that simple."

"You know, there's a possibility the elixir won't work. I don't want to mislead you, Alayna." He admitted and she nodded.

"I know the chance I'm taking."
