Karoline pulled the Buick up quickly into the parking space beside Dean, at a rush. She had gotten a text from Chuck the other day giving him this address saying it was a life or death emergency. The doors slamming shut echoed one after the other as they all climbed out, but it was Alayna who first noticed the line of about three other Impalas and Buick's.
She didn't have time to ponder how weird that was because Sam rushed her along, "Alayna! Come on!" She turned and hurried after her sister and the two Winchester boys. "Chuck! There you are!" Sam said as they spotted him.
"Guys?" Chuck asked looking at them confused.
"What's going on?" Dean asked, slightly out of breath.
"Um, nothing, you know...I was kind of hanging. What are you guys doing here?" Chuck asked, now it was Karoline's turn to be confused. He was the one who texted them.
"You told us to come."
Chuck frowned at the blonde, "Uh no, I didn't."
"Yeah, you did," She shot back, her hands on her hips. "You texted me, this address uh, 'life or death situation'... any of this ringing a bell?"
"No, I..." Chuck trailed off shrugging helplessly. He didn't know what to tell them. "I didn't send you a text."
"We drove all night!" Dean barked, cranky from the lack of sleep. Not that Alayna could blame them, they were all sleep depraved. In fact after what happened with the last hunt they were all running on fumes, on edge with each other. Though, it seemed the tension lied mostly between Sam and Dean.
"I'm sorry, I ... I don't understand what could..." Chuck trailed off as this look of realization lit up his blue eyes. "Oh no." He muttered, running a hand through his hair.
"What's 'Oh no'?" Karoline echoed, a frown pulling at her lips. Chuck never got a chance to respond, or warn them.
Because, at that moment, Becky came out of the hotel and bounded down the front steps towards the four hunters and the prophet. "Sam! You made it!" She said excitedly, then her eyes fell onto Alayna and her smile fell instantly. "And you, again."
Alayna tilted her head at her, her arms crossed, "And it's you," She smiled sarcastically at the girl, twirling a strand of hair around her finger. "Again." She added causing Becky to scowl at the short brunette.
Luckily, Sam broke in. "Uh... Becky, right?" He asked, trying to change the topic.
"Oh, you remembered," Becky perked up, her face splitting into a wide smile. "You've been thinking about me."
"I..." Sam looked at her awkwardly, then over at Dean who shrugged.
"It's okay!" She shrilled, saving him from having to respond. "I can't get you out of my head either."
Chuck scratched the back of his head awkwardly, and turned to the fangirl next to him, "Uh, did you take my phone?" Chuck asked her.
"I just borrowed it from your pants." She shrugged, like it was totally normal to take someones phone and call four hunters and have them travel for a day straight across the country.
Chuck sighed, "Becky..."
"What?" She looked at him innocently, gesturing to the four hunters. "They're gonna want to see it."
"See what?" Sam and Dean asked simultaneously.
Becky's eyes widened as she looked between the two boys, "Oh my god, I love it when they talk at the same time!"
Karoline nodded with a cheeky smile, "I do, too."
Before Dean could ask yet again what Becky was talking about a man with long brown hair peeked his head out the double doors, nodding at Chuck. "Hey Chuck? Come on pal, it's show time!" At that Becky ran back into the hotel excitedly.
