The Van Allens vs Zachariah

Ash moved over to the Jute Box to start up the music as Alayna and Daryll came over to where Karoline and the boys were still standing, looking around the room in awe. "My God... the Roadhouse." Karoline breathed out with a smile, it'd been too long.

"I even smells the same," Dean added, smiling as well.

"Bud, blood, and beer nuts. It's the best smell in the world," Ash said as he went back behind the counter. Daryll hoped up on the counter and flung his legs over so he was on the same side as Ash now.

"How about a cold one?" Daryll asked with a friendly smile as he pulled out a couple of beers from behind the counter. "Up here, no hangover." He laughed and Alayna laughed along with him, sliding into the seat. "And a Monster for you." He remembered, sliding the black and green can over to the brunette.

Karoline and the boys shared hesitant looks before taking a seat at the bar with Alayna. Daryll didn't miss the mistrusting looks and let out a heavy sigh. "Look, guys. I'll admit I was kind of a douche there," He popped open one of the beer bottles and slid it over to Sam first. "But, you gotta know, I had no idea what Ruby was planning. I really thought we were trying to help you stop Lilith. Protect Alayna."

Sam offered him a small sympathetic smile as he took the bottle, "I get it." He admitted, and he really did. He knew what it was like to have honest, good intentions and have them go bad on him, hurt those around him. He knew that all too well.

"And Dean," Daryll chuckled nervously as he popped open the beer. If he was honest, meeting head on with Dean is what he feared most. Not having to face Sam and Alayna again cause he knew their forgiveness would be easy to get. Not even Karoline. But, Dean. Not even because he did anything directly to him, but he had a hand in what happened with Sam and with what happened with Alayna... Dean had quite the temper. "What happened between Alayna and I -er Ruby and I. I wasn't thinking straight. And it was stupid and I was a complete asshole-"

He was cut off by Dean lashing out and punching him straight in the face. Several gasps broke out as Daryll reeled back and grabbed at his nose. For being dead, that really hurt. Ash steadied him out and Daryll sucked in a sharp breath, easily popping the bone back into place. "Yeah, I totally deserved that one." He muttered, crunching up his face in pain.

Dean kept hard eyes on the boy, "you're lucky your already dead, otherwise I'd kill you again." He swiped the beer off the table and took a large swig.

"So..." Karoline drew out awkwardly, trying to fill the silence. "No offense. But, how're..."

"The two of us in a place like this?" Ash filled in and Karoline cringed slightly. "I was saved, Kare. I was my congregation's number one snake handler." He smirked before turning to look at blue eyed boy next to him as he twirled a can between his hands. "Demon boy over here, haven't got a clue. But, a few months back I catch wind of Daryll being top side and I just had to go find him. Then he told me about his time as one of those black eyed suckers and it made sense why he wasn't already here by the time I took the stairway to Heaven."

Sam smiled slightly, same old Ash. "And you said this was your heaven?" He asked.

"Yup! My own... personal..." He explained, popping a hole into the bottom of the beer can and cracking the top open to shotgun it. He burped loudly, getting a heavy sigh from Daryll, and giggles from the girls as he crunched up the can and tossed it into the trash can.

"And when Zachariah came for us? We were...?" Alayna trailed off waiting for one of them to fill in the blank.

Daryll was the one to answer her, "In your heaven."

"So, there're two Heavens?" She frowned.

"No," Karoline sighed, turning to her sister. She'd spent enough time with Cas to know a few things about Heaven. She was confused at first too. "Each individual person gets their own spot in Heaven, their own little Heaven inside of Heaven."
