The cemetery was a few minutes out from the hotel, and the six of them hurried quickly, the four real hunters wanting to burn this bitch extra toasty, while the two that were up ahead of everyone else just wanted to win. Alayna was still against bringing them out there, not wanting them to get in the way or for them to get hurt, but it was the only way.
"Hey Sam, Karoline, Axel, and Jo, would you hurry it up?" The girl, that Alayna fount out, was named Hazel asked, and the guy with her was her boyfriend, Demian.
Dean rolled his eyes at the names chosen, "You all right?" Karoline asked Dean, noticing the look on his face.
"I'm trying to be." Dean muttered, he was half between pissed off and annoyed, neither making a difference on how much he wanted to punch something. What really pissed them off was how there were so many people that treated their life story like some TV show. It was real, they lived through all that pain and suffering .
"What is wrong with you?" Hazel asked, looking over at Demian. It took Alayna a moment to realize that they were, yet again, acting out another scene.
"Wrong with me?" Demian echoed, dropping his voice three octave in an over dramatic way. "What the Hell did I do?"
"His girlfriend died six months ago, all he wants is some closure and you aren't making it any better by dragging him all across the country when he could be with John, helping him." Alayna's mouth went dry when she remembered when exactly this conversation happened. They had gotten a call from John and Tom in the middle of the night sending them on a hunt. Sam got pissed and stormed off, then when she tried to defend him, her and Dean got into a fight and she fled to Jason's for the weekend.
"Dad doesn't want his help!" Demian's voice rose. "He asked us to work this job, and that's good enough for me."
"And you think Sam's the selfish bastard. Okay," She scoffed. Sam looked over at Alayna confused and she just waved him off, he wasn't there for that argument and he didn't need to be. "I get listening to your father, but when your father is in the wrong, you should stand up for your brother."
"Watch it, Princess," Demian warned. "All I've ever done was watch out for Sammy, you think you can just waltz in here after seven years and pretend like you know my own brother better than I do?"
"Yeah, I do."
"Oh, you know what? That, that's it. That is it!" Dean exploded, cutting into their fake argument just about done with all this fan bullshit.
"What's wrong, Axel?" Demian asked, saying Axel pointedly.
"I'm not Axel, okay?" Dean's eyes were wide, and crazed as he blew the lid off this whole thing. "You're not Dean! You're not Alayna! What is wrong with you? Why in the hell would you choose to be these people?"
"Because we're fans like you." Hazel frowned at him.
"No I am not a fan okay? Not fans," He shook his head, gesturing between the four of them. "In fact, I think that their story sucks! It is not funny, it's not entertaining, it's a river of crap that would send most people howling to the nuthouse. So, you listen to me," He raised a finger at them, taking a step forward. "Their pain is not for your amusement. I mean do you think that they enjoy being treated like...like circus freaks?"
"I don't think they care. Because they're fictional characters." Demian said, looking at Dean now like he was the crazy one.
"Oh, they care. Believe me. They care a lot." He looked between the two of them one last time before stalking off.
Karoline sighed, rubbing at her temples. "He uh, he takes the story really seriously." She explained quickly before hurrying after Dean. "Dean wait!" She called out as she chased after him. Finally he came to a stop and turned to face the blonde. "You're not a freak." She told him, her chest rising and falling as she caught her breath again. "You're actually doing pretty good considering all the crap you've been through."
