Chapter 12: Where Is She?

Charlie's POV

I walked inside the hall as people were looking at me.

"Man." I mumbled as I looked down.

"Feeling nervous?" Jason said teasingly as he put his arm around my shoulder.

"Why are they looking at me?" I asked as I reached my locker.

"Well, what happened last night? Can you tell me what you did?" He said seriously.

"I hate that tone." I said as I took my English book and closed my locker.

"Feeling angry I see... or maybe guilty?" He said as he tapped his chin.

"What?" I said.

Bell Rings..

"I gotta get to class." Jason said as he smirked.

"You--"

Someone cut me off. "Did you get a good night sleep?" I turned around as I saw Logan, smiling.

"What? You think its funny?" I said mockingly.

"I saw you there... I saw everything." He said seriously.

"So? You care about her?" I said sarcastically.

"I don't know. Maybe." He said.

"If you like a girl, don't choose someone who's dorky and crazy.." I adviced him.

"I don't need you to tell me that." He said as he smiled.

"Why are you smiling?" I asked.

"Do I need your permission to smile?" He said mockingly.

"I gotta get to class." I said as I walked away.

I really felt bad about last night. I didn't mean to pour my juice on her. Everytime I close my eyes, I remember that thing that I did.

Flashback..

I was talking to Zack and I've been telling him about what happened earlier at the mall with me and Alyanna. Like Jason said earlier, Zack thinks that maybe Alyanna likes me. But I know that she only did that to get her purse back. Maybe I should stop talking to my boys about her.

"Speaking of Lightning." He said as he nodded to his right and there, I saw Alyanna, talking to Jason and Belle.

She was wearing a plain white dress with glitters on the front. Then Zack handed me two cups, which has juice in it.

"What's this for? Im not thirsty." I said mockingly.

"You won't change, huh?" He said sarcastically.

"I was born like this. Deal with it." I said seriously.

"One for you and one for Lightning, give the drink to her so you can talk to her and be friends again." He said.

That plan wasn't bad. But I just felt that.. she would just kick me or shut me off.

As much as I wanted to do what Zack said, now is not a good time. Im nervous and I don't know what to say to her.

"No, thanks! I don't want my ass kicked!" I said mockingly.

"Just try." He said calmly.

"I don't even know what to say to her."

Then he started pushing me to Alyanna. I turned as I faced him "Fine! I'll talk to her."  I yelled slightly.
