Chapter 77: Not A Happy Birthday?

Alyanna's POV

"Happy Birthday dear Alyanna! Happy Birthday to you!!"

After the song, they applauded.

"Happy birthday, bubbles!" Charlie said.

I started to cry.

"Aw! Tears of joy?" Charlie said as he walked towards me.

"WHY?!" I yelled.

"What's wrong? Didn't you like it?" Charlie asked worriedly.

"WHY DIDN'T YOU TOLD ME ABOUT THIS?" I yelled at him.

Why am I yelling at my birthday?

"Well, we were planning on surprising you.."

He said as he looked at my friends.

"Oh yeah, I'm very surprise." I said sarcastically.

"What's wrong, Yana?" Pat suddenly walked towards me.

"Do you even know what I've been through?" I whimpered.

"What?" Charlie said.

I looked at him. "You. I went to your house and you weren't there." I said angrily.

"Why would you go to my house?" He asked.

"Because I thought maybe, atleast someone might greet me on my special day." Tears were definitely falling down from my eyes.

He moved closer as he wiped my tears away and hugged me.

I heard his heart beating again. It's weird that I think my heart is pounding too.

I saw Pat, rubbed my back.

"We're sorry, Yana. We thought that you would like it if we surprise you." Pat stated.

I suddenly pulled back as I looked at them.

I was looking for someone.

"Where's my boyfriend and my Dad?" I asked.

"Well, we'll tell you later." Drea winked at me.

"Oh great, another surprise again." I said mockingly.

"What's wrong? It's gonna awesome." Jaz said.

"Did you know that I walked alone all day?" I said sadly.

They all looked down.

I sighed. "I went over to all of your houses and none of you were there."

"We're sorry that we didn't told you. We just got busy, doing--"

I cut Shay off.  "WHY?! DID I WANT THIS?! WHO MADE THIS ANYWAY?!" I yelled angrily.

"WE DID AND WE WORKED HARD ON IT!" Charlie yelled.

"WHY? DID I TOLD YOU TO DO THIS?!" I yelled louder.

"We made this special for you and you're just gonna hate it after what we did for you?" He seriously said but end it with a sad tone.

He's right. I should learn to enjoy the little efforts that they did to me.

"Charlie, I--"

He cut me off. "Now you're gonna say sorry. You know, we worked hard on this and you didn't even appreciate it... What the hell is wrong with you?" He said as he suddenly went to my living room.

My friends looked at me as they got shock at what happened.

I suddenly ran up the stairs and into my room.

I slammed the door shut as I lean my back to my door.

I hate myself.

Why did I yelled at him? He was just trying to let me understand what they did for my birthday but I was definitely losing it as I let my anger out.

Now Charlie hates me. Even my friends too.

What the hell is wrong with me?!

I walked towards my bed.

I looked at my bed and there was a box.

I sat beside the box as I slowly grabbed it and there was a note attached to it.

Hey Alyanna, I hope you like my present! You better like it or else... Happy Birthday, bubbles! - your awesome sexy bestfriend, Charlie.

Wow, he even threatened me on my birthday!

I smiled at the note he wrote as I opened the box to reveal a red dress.

It looks exactly like the one in that vintage shop.

It has a ribbon on the right side and has a strap that goes around the left shoulder as I pulled it out of the box and it has a note taped on the side.

Wear it tonight. xx

And I will.

I took the note out as I looked down.

I saw a pair of red high-heel shoes that would fit my feet perfectly.

And there's another note attached to the strap of the shoe.

These too. x

I quickly changed my sweatshirt into the dress that Charlie gave me and changed my shoes to the high-heel shoes.

I don't usually wear shoes that has a heel on it. But I think I'll try.

It's only a 2-inch shoe.

Few minutes later after wearing it, I looked at the mirror as I smiled.

I look... like... Whoa...

I decided to go down and apologized to everyone for making a mistake.
