Chapter 76: Happy Birthday!

Charlie's POV

I was on the look-out incase Alyanna comes back.

Logan plans to make her a surprise birthday party.

Me, Shannon, Patricia, Andrea, Jason, Belle and the rest of our neighbors came to Alyanna's surprise birthday party.

Wonder how I got here without her noticing? I hide in the backdoor.

I also heard that she went to my house and I wasn't there.

I called all of her friends earlier to come here at her house.

Flashback..

(After she walked out of her house)

My phone suddenly ring.

I looked at the screen.

Incoming call: Logan

I answered it as I put my phone on my right ear.

"What's up, Logan?" I said through the plan.

"Where are you, man?" He asked.

"At Alyanna's house. I saw her walked out to her house." I stated.

"Do you think that she'll be back later?" He asked.

I stand up. "I don't know. Do I look like her?" I said sarcastically.

"It's that attitude again." I heard him mumbled.

"What did you say?" I seriously said.

He sigh. "Did you know it's her birthday today?" He asked.

"Even though I hate her, I'd still remember her birthday."

"Good, because I have a plan." He said happily.

"Does it involve throwing things at her?" I asked hopefully.

"I'm gonna kill you if you do that." He threatened me.

"I was only kidding." I pouted as I walked inside her house.

"Shut up, Charlie." He said.

"What?" I said.

"Since it's my girlfriend's birthday today, why don't we make her a surprise birthday party!" He suggested.

"Are you out of your mind?" I said.

"What?"

"Do you know how hard it is to do that? Decorations, cooking, confetti." I obviously said.

"Fine, then I'll just do it myself." He said.

"Hey, I was just kidding." I smiled.

"You know, I can talk to her dad for you. If you like." I added.

"Good, I'll just decorate the house. Call her friend. The more people who help, the better. Be there in a few!" He said as I hung up.

Then I started dialing her friends, telling them that they need to come here in Alyanna's house for the surprise party.

They all agreed.

And now, here I am, with them. Just waiting for Alyanna to come here. I just hope she loves the surprise party.

I looked at the window and I started to freak when I saw her walking towards the house.

"EVERYONE HIDE! SHE'S COMING!!" I yelled at them, who were busy decorating.

They started to hide anywhere that they won't be easily seen.

I leaned on the left side of the wall.

I turn off the lights as I heard the doorknob turned.

"Dad? Why is it so dark? Can you turn it on?" She felt her feet stepped inside.

Since I'm closer to the switch, I reached my hand as I turned the lights on.

"Thanks." She said.

I crept quietly towards her back as I whispered in her left ear. "You're welcome."

She suddenly turned around and couldn't find the words to deliever as she stood there, frozen.

"SURPRISE!!" Her friends came out as they yelled.

Shay and Drea were holding the banner that they made that said 'Happy 17th Birthday, Yana!"

And they started singing.

"Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you!...-" I walked up to them as we all sang together.

"Happy Birthday dear Alyanna! Happy Birthday to you!!"

After the song, we applauded.

"Happy birthday, bubbles." I said happily.

I feel like a kid, which is a good thing.

Then Alyanna started to cry.

Not what I was expecting her to do.

I thought she would run and hug us.

"Aw! Tears of joy?" I said as I walked towards her.

"WHY?!" She yelled.
