Chapter 70: Giving Presents.

Alyanna's POV

"We can be friends but not like this. You have to forget your feelings for me." I said.

"I don't want you in any trouble." I add.

Charlie was about to open his mouth when the door creaked open.

Charlie turned and saw Jason, peered his head at the door.

"Guys, its time to open the presents!" He said as he smiled at us.

"You guys okay?" He added.

"Yeah, let's go.." I said as I walked out of the kitchen.

I can't believe it! Charlie does like me.

I knew it!

I just don't want anything to happen between us like what happened in the basement.

I can't cheat on my boyfriend with his bestfriend.

"Hey guys!" I said as I walked into the living room as I saw them, sitting in the couch.

I sat between Pat and Logan.

Logan was at my right and Pat was on left.

Shay and Drea sit together and Belle was at the edge of the couch, resting her arm in the armrest.

We were waiting for Jason and Charlie.

After a few minutes, I saw them walked in.

Charlie looked alittle blank.

Did I say something harsh earlier? Of course, I did. I just told him the truth... I think.

"Finally!" Belle groaned.

"Hey babe!" Jason said as he sat beside Belle and wrapped his arms around her waist.

"Let's open the presents!" I shouted as I saw them, applauded and they were definitely looking forward on opening the presents.

Charlie was... not showing his expression...

We all exchanged presents and sat around the Christmas tree.

Shay got me a Victoria Secret Cologne.

Drea got me a t-shirt that says "True love, baby!" I sorta laugh at that.

Pat also got me a t-shirt that says "Do it now or you'll be sorry." I really can't figure that out.

Logan gave me a bracelet that has his name engraved to it.

Jason got me a... blue ripped-style jacket that has the letter "A" on the right side.

They all know that I'm addicted to clothes.

But Belle gave me some nice flip-flops.

But I didn't get Charlie's gift. It was a mini magician hat.

"Charlie, what's this?" I said as I held the magician hat.

"A hat, don't wear it." He said with a blank expression.

"Yeah, but what am I gonna--"

He suddenly walked out of the room, which made us curious.

If he's mad at me then he better--

I got interrupted by my thoughts as I saw Charlie, holding a large white teddy bear.

"Here." He gave it to me as I simply touch the bear.

I attached the hat at the top of the bear and it fits perfectly!

"It's cute." I said.

"Press his heart." He said.

I slowly touched the bear's heart as I pressed it.

Merry Christmas, bubbles!

The bear said. It was Charlie, saying Merry Christmas to me.

"Thank you, Charlie." I smiled.

He just nod.

I never thought that I hate this attitude better than the teasing one.

"We should go. It's getting alittle late." Jason said as he saw the time: 12:30am.

I nod and walked them to the door, holding their presents.

"Thanks for inviting us and for the presents." Belle said as she hugged me.

"Merry Christmas." She added.

"Anytime, and Merry Christmas too." I said as we pulled back.

"Merry Christmas, Alyanna." Jaz said.

"You too." I waved goodbye as her and Jason walked down to their car.

"Thanks for inviting me." Shay said as the girls bumped her hip.

"Us. Thanks for inviting us and for the presents. They're lovely." She added, which made me laugh and hug them tight.

"Merry Christmas, Yana!" They said in unison.

"I love you guys and Merry Christmas too." I whispered as we pulled back.

They waved goodbye and walked away.

Arms went around my waist from behind. I lean up to see Logan, smiling down at me.

I spun around and wrapped my arms around his neck.

"Merry Christmas, baby. Thanks for the present." He whispered in my ear as he kissed my cheek.

I smiled. "Merry Christmas, babe." I said as he lets go and waved goodbye.

I watched him, walked to his car as he put it in reverse and started driving away.

I can't believe that he didn't saw the mistletoe!

I close the door as I went inside.

But I felt like there was something... different.

When I turn around, I got shocked to see Charlie, just standing there.

"You scared me." I said.

He still looked blank.

"Really?" He said sarcastically.

See? That's the Charlie I know.

"Are you going home?" I asked.

"Yeah. Thanks for inviting me to the party and for your present.." He said as he glanced at me and went to the door.

He suddenly stopped as he turned. "Oh and uh, Merry Christmas." He said as he started walking away.

He's mad, I need to do something.

"WAIT!!" I yelled at him, which made him stop and turn around.

"What?" He asked.

"Come here." I said as he started walking towards me.

"What?" He repeated what he said.

"Are you mad?" I asked.

"What if I am? What are you gonna do?" He seriously said as he moved closer to me.

"Nothing." I mumbled as I stepped back.

He sighed. "I better go." He said as he turned around and started to walk.

I sigh. "Charlie, I--"

He suddenly turned around. "You were right, okay? I know what you were trying to do and I get it. But right now, maybe it's time to let go... Goodbye.." He seriously said but end it with a sad tone.

He walked out fast as he walked to his car and drove away.

Why do I feel like I'm hurt?

I walked inside as I closed the door behind me.
