It's 7:00pm and my friends are not here yet! I'm furious! I planned this party so we can all hang and celebrate New Year's Eve together but.. I guess, they--

I got interrupted as I heard a knock on the door.

As I'm walking towards the door, I heard whispering. I suddenly opened it as I made a confused look.

"Mr. Lightning, did you step in the wrong house?" I joked as I didn't expect to see him tonight.

He smiled. "No, I didn't. I heard about your party here." He said as he walked inside my house.

"You with anyone else, sir?" I asked as I closed the door.

"No, just me." He said.

Where's Alyanna then?

"Where's Alyanna, sir?" I asked politely.

"She's on her way. Where's Liz?" He asked as he looked around.

He was referring to my mom.

"In the kitchen, sir." I said as I pointed to the kitchen.

He walks towards our kitchen as he wanted to maybe, talk to my mother.

"Where are they?" I mumbled angrily.

I sat on the steps of my stairs and just wondered about what.. Logan said to me before..

Just get back with Sam, start dating her again.

Should I do that? I can't, I'm inlove with my Alyanna. I just wish I know how she feels about me.

A knock on the door interrupted my thoughts as I walked towards the door and opened it.

"Sorry, we're late bro." Jason said as he and Belle walked in.

"Where's everybody?" Belle asked.

"I don't know. Ask.. my phone." I said mockingly.

"They haven't replied back?" Jason asked.

"Nope, maybe they don't want to celebrate here." I said sadly.

"Nice... sign..." Jason snickers.

Oh, I got a sign near the buffet table that says "New Year!"

"You forgot Happy?" Jason said as he pointed at the sign.

"I forgot to buy letters in the mall, okay?!" I said angrily as I suddenly heard music in the backyard.

"What's that?" Jason asked.

"Maybe its those stupid neighbors." I rolled my eyes.

"Lets check it out!" Belle said as she smiled at Jason. Jason did it in return.

"You guys are so creepy!" I said as I walked to the backyard.

As I got there, I couldn't believe my eyes.

"SURPRISE!!!" All my friends were there. Shannon, Andrea, Patricia, Logan, Bryan, Zack and the rest of my schoolmates.

But the one person I really wanted to see was Alyanna.

"Guys, have you been here long?" I asked them happily.

"Nah, we just got here like 5 minutes.." Shay replied.

"Well, come in you guys!" I said as I gestured them to my house. They walked in except..
