Alyanna's POV

Bell Rings..

"Finish or not, please pass the papers to your side as class is over.." Ms. Rodriguez said as the students followed her instructions.

After a few minutes, my classmates went out.. well, mostly all of them..

"Hey, aren't you coming?" Shay asked.

"Yeah, I will. Just go ahead first."

"Maybe you'll just sit here and be all sad." Drea said.

"No, I'm waiting for Ms. Rodriguez." I mumbled.

"Why?" Pat asked.

"I wanna know what Charlie wrote in our worksheet.." I said.

"Did you let him answer the whole thing?" Shay asked sarcastically.

"What? No. He only answered the 3rd question.." I said.

"Oh, did that question shocked you?" Pat said teasingly.

"No." I tittered.

"She's lying." Drea blurted.

"Of course, I lied.." I said as they chuckled.

"What if Charlie wrote something bad about you?" Pat guessed.

"Charlie? He wouldn't."

"Remember, he hates you now.." Drea said.

"How'd you know he hates me now?" I asked curiously.

"I don't. But now that you mentioned it, It is true!" Drea gasped.

"See? This is your fault. Aren't you feeling guilty?" Pat asked.

I sigh. "Isn't it getting hot in here?" I changed the topic.

"How dare you change the topic!" Shay said angerily.

"Not me, say that to my mouth." I said sarcastically.

"Just go, I'll catch up." I added.

"Alright." Shay said as they walked out of the classroom.

"You aren't leaving yet, Alyanna?" Ms. Rodriguez said as she stand up while holding the worksheets.

I stand up as I walk towards her. "Is it okay to ask?" I said.

"Of course. But if it's about the play--"

I cut her off. "It's not about the play, ma'am..."

With that, she made a confused face.

"What do you mean? Are you having trouble in my subject?" She asked worriedly.

"Ms. Rodriguez, can I please see the worksheet?" I blurted.

"What worksheet?" She asked curiously.

"Mine and Charlie's" I smiled innocently.

"But why?" She asked.

"I just wanna check if.... I... misspelled something..."

"Alyanna, are you lying?" She said.

"Yes." I told the truth. We walked out of the classroom as we stopped.

"Why do you wanna see it?" She asked.

"I.... didn't..... answer the 3rd question, Charlie did. And I just wanna see what he wrote because I didn't got the chance to see it.." I said as I looked down.

Then she touched my shoulder, which made me look up.

"You know, Charlie's not the same anymore." She said worriedly as we walked abreast.

"What do you mean, ma'am?" I asked nicely.

"Charlie was... well, not the best but one of the good students here in SkyWoods Academy but he... changed."

Changed? So its very noticetable. I even saw it. He's always wearing black and hits on girls. Its really weird.

"I know, ma'am." I said sadly.

"He changed into something... he's not... and that started when I saw him with girls, flirting at them. I once caught Charlie, drinking with one of his friends.."

"Drinking?! Charlie would never do that." I blurted.

"Well, he didn't. Actually he saw me that day and he walked up to me and said not to tell anyone. I told him that I wouldn't if he stops drinking. He told me that he was just dared to do it."

With that, I realized that this was all my fault.. He's starting to do what other people say! Why would you even drink it? I wouldn't if I were him.

"When he was with you, he was a better person. Sure, he may be under control but maybe that was the person he was supposed to be." Ms. Rodriguez added.

Why did my teacher say? He was better off with me? I always tease and mock him. How is that better?

"Wait, why me?" I ask confused.

"Because I know Charlie has a problem and that's you.." She said as she started searching at the worksheets.

"Just read it." She said as she handed me the paper.

"I don't know about this." I mumbled.

"Just read it, you might feel better. Return it to me on Monday." She smiled as she walked away.

Better? Why? Is One Direction pasted on the worksheet?!

I sigh as I flipped open the worksheet of me and Charlie.
