Chapter 36: Girl Talk; Part 2

Flashback..

This is how we fell in love..

(Saturday, 3pm. August 13th)

Me and Logan are going to his house as he said he wants to hang out with me... again.

Sometimes, people think we're together, It creeps me out. I don't even know if he likes me at all. I mean, who would like a bad, simple little nerd girl like me?

He's cute, tall, smart, sweet, popular and--

I don't know.... where we're going..

"Hey Logan, I thought we're going to your house?"

"Mm-Hmm, Why?" He said, not taking glances as his eyes were on the road.

"We just... past your house..." I said as I looked back.

"I know." He said as he smirked.

"Are you kidnapping me?!" I started to panic.

"You're funny!" He laughed.

"Thanks, it wasn't really a joke." I seriously said.

"Are you gonna feed me to the cannibals?" I asked frightening.

"What?!" He looked confused.

"You know, a person who eats human flesh." I said as I brought my knees up and I put my arms around it as I buried my head in it.

"Why would I do that?" He asked but it was more like a question when he said it.

"I don't know. I don't see why we're not in LA anymore." I said as I didn't bother to look up.

Then I heard the car stopped. Maybe we're out of gas.

I looked at my windscreen as I got shocked at what I saw..

"WE'RE IN THE BEACH?!" I screamed as I unbuckled my seatbelt and slid off Logan's car.

I stand up and felt the wind went through my body.

I heard the car door open and shuted. He locked the car and stand beside me.

"Are you gonna stay there, smelling the air or you wanna have some fun?" He teased me.

"I'm not stupid! Let's go have some fun!" I said as I grab his arm and went down the beach.

We played and eat and talked all day long.. Until it was 5:30pm, the sunset was beautiful on the horizon as it was going down.

I sat on the blanket that Logan layed on earlier.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" Logan said as he sat beside me and looked at the sunset.

"More beautiful than flies." I said sarcastically as I saw flies flying everywhere.

"You know, you're really funny."

"Yeah, someday I'm gonna be a comedian." I said sarcastically as he giggled.

Then I felt the breeze came in as I moved my hands up and down my arms.

"Its getting cold." I said as I looked down.

He suddenly stand up and went behind my back as he hugged me.

"I'm sorry If I don't a jacket but... Can I be it?" He said seductively, which made me blush.

"That's so corny!" I said teasingly as we watched the sunset together.

Then when it was nightime, I got tired and wanted to go home.

I yawned and stretched as I stand up.

"I wanna go home, Logan." I said as I started walking.

Then he followed me. He was holding the blanket we sat upon earlier with his left hand. Then he suddenly stopped, which made me turned around as I walk towards him.

"What's wrong, Loggy?"

That's my nickname for him..

"I don't know how to say this..." He said nervously.

"What?" I asked.

"I.... really like you... Everytime I see you, I just wanna go and talk to you but I never had the guts too. My heart skipped a beat everytime I see you smiling and when you laugh, it makes me smile just by hearing that cute laugh.. And how your beauty leaves me breathless.. Everytime we hang out, I feel all those things then I came to realize that I don't just like you--" He paused to catch a breath and held my right hand.

"Im inlove with you.." He smiled like I gave him some "special vitamins"

I just stood there, speechless. I don't know what to say.. Why did he made me feel like this way?!

"Please say something. Are you inlove with me too?" He asked.

"First, thank you for what you did, it made feel like a statue." I said sarcastically as he laughed.

"And second, I am..... inlove with you." I added as I smiled up to him.

"Then can you be my girlfriend?" He said.

"Yes." I said without hesitating.

Then he suddenly hugged me. I hug him back but later on, I heard fireworks as they explode right up in the sky.

I pulled back from our hug. "Now can we go home?" I said jokingly.

"Yes." He put his arm around me as we went to his car.

He drove me home and-- I was interrupted on my flashbacks as I got hit by a pillow.

"Okay, who threw the pillow?" I said as I held the pillow.

"Well, you were staring at the window and it creeps us out." Shay said as she took a bite of her cookie.

"Oh, I was thinking about my favorite memories of me and Logan."

"How are you.... and Charlie? I saw you guys talking at the theater earlier?" Pat asked curiously.

"Oh, we were okay at first then... you know, some people changed, which is really weird."

"What do you mean?" Drea asked curiously.

"Well earlier, we were arguing about going to the movies.."

"And?" Pat said.

"And when I walk towards him, he trip me!"

"Oh, so that explains the bandage." Drea pointed at my left knee that was covered with a bandage.

"I can't believe he did that! He was your bestfriend!" Shay said.

"Yeah, well maybe not anymore. We barely even talk.." I said as I looked down.

Then I heard a knock on the door.

"Did you invite more people?" Pat asked Shay curiously.

"We're not having a party here.." Drea said as she rolled her eyes.

"Nope." She said as she popped the 'p'.

Shay stand up and walked to the front door.

She just stood up there like... a statue..

"What's with Shay?" I asked.

"I don't know." Pat said.

"Does she owe any people money?" I said.

"Not that I'm aware." Drea said.

"I'll go check it out.." I sigh as I walked up to her.

"What's taking you so long?" I asked.

My eyes suddenly widden as I saw who was at the door..
