Chapter 64: Christmas Is Coming.

3 weeks later...

It was 12:30pm in the afternoon as I'm helping my dad decorate our 7 foot Christmas tree since Christmas is coming!

I already bought gifts for my friends.

I really hope they like it.

I heard a knock on the door.

"I'll get it." I said as my Dad continued decorating the Christmas tree.

I walked towards the door as I open it to reveal my lovely boyfriend, holding 3 roses in his left hand and a heart-shape chocolate in his right hand..

He's been really sweet ever since he came back.

What's weird is that we never fight at all. I just.. I always wanted a guy I can tease like Liverwood.

My boyfriend is just too sweet and I'm so demanding and jelly.

"Okay buddy, its not Valentine's Day!" I said sarcastically as I pulled him inside.

"You don't like it?" He pouted.

"No..." I seriously said as I close the door.

"What?!" He looked shocked.

"I love it!" I smiled.

"Great. Logan, you're here. Would you mind helping me?" My dad asked my boyfriend.

"Of course, sir." I took the roses and the heart-shape chocolate from his hands as my boyfriend went towards my Dad.

It's nice to know that my Dad likes Logan for me and seeing them like this, makes me smile even wider.

I walked inside the kitchen as I placed the roses in a vase and put water on it.

After 2 hours, we were done decorating our Christmas tree.

"Who wants to put the star on top?" My dad said as he held the star.

"ME!" I yelled.

Then I heard another knock on the door.

"It's weird. Our doorbell is working fine but why can't people use it?" I made a weird look as my Dad smiled.

"I'll get it." Logan said.

"Here. I'm hungry.." My dad gave me the star as he walked towards the kitchen.

As Logan opened the door, I can't believe my eyes that I saw Charlie.

Who even invited him?

"What's up, buddy!" Logan said as he hugged him then Charlie walked inside.

"I'm good." Charlie said, happily.

"Why are you here?" I asked rudely.

"Wow, that's the Christmas spirit!" Charlie said sarcastically.

Sometimes, Logan sees that me and Charlie are always fighting and says that I should be nice to him.

Should I? No, not happening.

"Okay, let's put the star where it belongs, babe!" Logan said as he smiled at me.

"I-- Uh, need the ladder." I obviously said.

"Alright, well--" Charlie wanted to continue but my boyfriend cut him off.

"I'll get that ladder." My boyfriend winked at me as he walked away.

I know what he's trying to do. How can I even be nice to Charlie when-

I got interrupted by my thoughts as Charlie started to speak.

"Nice Christmas tree." He said as he looked at it.

"No one ask your opinion." I crossed my arms.

"Why are you always mean to me?" He seriously said.

"Why are you always coming here?" I asked angrily.

"I'll come if I want too and besides, I'm very welcome to your humble home." He smirked.

"Not while I'm here, you ain't." I rolled my eyes.

"You know what's missing at that Christmas tree?" He said.

"No one cares for your opinon." I obviously said.

"The lights?" He said as he looked at me and smile.

"Oh. Well--"

My boyfriend came and cut me off. "Got the ladder." He said as he holds it with both hands.

He placed it near the Christmas tree as he held it tight.

I started climbing the steps on it but as I was reaching the top of the tree.

"I NEED HELP IN THE KITCHEN!" My dad yelled.

"I'll help your father, babe." Logan said as he slowly lets go of the ladder.

"Charlie, hold the ladder tight, alright? Don't let her fall."

After a few reach, I finally got the star on top.

When I turned around, I suddenly lost out of balance and next thing I knew, I was falling until an arm went under my back as the other, under my legs. I looked up to see Charlie catch me.

"Why are you so clumsy?" He whispered.

"Thanks." I mumbled.

My heart started to beat going faster and faster as we stare at each other..

After a seconds.

"You should be more careful." He said nervously as he let my legs down gently to make me stand up.

I just remain silent for a while until...

"Your dad is awesome! He just burn the pan!"

My boyfriend came back.

"WHAT?!" I shouted as I run into the kitchen.

Charlie's POV

When I catch her, my heart started to beat faster. I just wanna lean in and kiss those cherry lips but... I can't!

I can't hurt my bestfriend by cheating on her girl.

I think everyday we hang out, the more... Im starting to fell for her.. Am I crazy? Or Is this love now? Yuck!

"You should be more careful." I said as I lay down her legs to make her stand up.

She just stood there, speechless.

What's wrong with her?

Then Logan came back.

"Your dad is awesome! He just burn the pan!" He said.

"WHAT?!" Alyanna shouted as she runs to the kitchen.

"What happened? Is Mr. Lightning okay?" I said worriedly.

"Nah, I was just messing with her." Logan said as he laughed.

I guess I'm not the only one who's crazy.

"LOGAN!!!" Alyanna yelled as he saw Logan and started chasing him.

I saw a chair as I sat on it and watch them run around like 2 year olds.

I wish that she was chasing me...
