~Later That Day~

Charlie's POV

It's nice to help my mom here around the house since.. later, my friends are all gonna be here for the party.

I thought that all of us are celebrating New Year Eve, why not just do it here in my house? Since I'm a lonely young boy with only his beautiful mother by his side.

"Here Charlie, taste it." My mom said as she puts a spoonful of soup and blows it.

I grabbed her arm slowly and I inserted the spoon to my mouth as I put my taste buds on the test.

"Hmm, needs alittle water." I said as I smiled.

"Okay." She said as she put a half-cup of water in her special soup.

I miss her cooking. It's been a while. We usually just order food outside.

I walked by her side.

"What's wrong, Charlie?" She added as she stirred the soup.

"What are you talking about, Mom?" I asked.

"Are you having problems?" She asked as she turned the heat down alittle.

"Nope, I'm just happy that you said yes to my New Year's Eve party that's happening tonight." I said as I hugged her.

My mom's a bit small so I rested my jawline to her shoulder.

I felt her hand ran up to my head and suddenly whack it. I groaned as I let go of her.

"What was that for?" I asked as I placed my left hand in the back of my head.

"That's for lying to your mommy." She teased me.

"I'm not lying." I lied.

"Charlie Liverwood!" She demanded.

I sighed. "I'm sorry Mom, I have to turn my back on you now." I turned my back as I smiled and walked out of the kitchen.

Should I tell my Mom or should... I hide it?

I walked to the living room and lay on the couch.

This is my only friend when it comes to relaxing my mind. She really helps.

Jason's POV

I'm on my way to Charlie's house. I miss that guy even though, he's a pain! I parked my car in the sidewalk as I slid off my car.

I walked up to his front door and I decided to prank him since... when the door was open.

I saw him in the living room, just quietly laying in the couch.

I crept quitely as I walked towards him.

"Why should I do?" He mumbled as I suddenly held his shoulder as I screamed.

He looked at me as he scream in my face. I suddenly covered my ears as I stand up.

Man, he screams like a girl!!

When he started to realize it was me, he stopped as he stand up and shoved my shoulder.

"I hate you, man!" He said, angrily.

"Were you thinking about her?" I asked as I sat on his couch.

"I heard screaming, are you okay, Charlie?!" Mrs. Liverwood freaked as I saw her, holding a wooden spoon.

"I'm fine, mom. It was just Jason." Charlie said as he gestured to me.

I turned my head around as I waved to Mrs. Liverwood.
