Chapter 80: The Clubhouse Party!

Alyanna's POV

I have no idea where Charlie's taking me.

He blindfolded me using his handkerchief.

I'm starting to hear loud music in both of my ears as I kept walking to.... who-knows-where.

I feel like I'm in a club.

The music's like pop rock.

"Where are we, Charlie?" I yelled because of the loud music.

I heard his footsteps walked around me as he untie the handkerchief.

I got shocked at what I saw with my own eyes.

I'm in a clubhouse!

I saw my girls dancing on the dance floor.

There are some people here that I don't know but who cares?!

This rocks!

"OH MY GOD!" I yelled as I turned around and suddenly hugged Charlie.

My heart started beating again. I feel like its a routine now.

I leaned my head up against his shoulder and he leaned down as he rested his jawline on my shoulder.

"No hug from me?"

That voice sounded familiar.

I pulled back as I turned to see my boyfriend, with his arms open.

"Get in here, babe!" He said as I suddenly hugged him. He wrapped his arms around my waist as we hugged.

I smile as I felt his heartbeat on my ear as I rested my head on his chest.

We pulled back.

"I missed you!" I said happily.

"You too." He smiled.

I started to look around. "Where's my Dad?"

"Oh, he's over there." Logan said as he points to the buffet table.

I saw my dad, drinking beer.

"Well, just don't let him drink too much. I won't sleep tonight if you did." I joked as they chuckled.

"Nice dress!" My boyfriend compliment me on my red-yet-simple dress.

"Well, your buddy gave it to me!" I said as I pointed to Charlie.

Logan walked towards him. "You got good taste, man!"

"Yeah, well. What can I say? I'm the babe magnet!" He said abruptly.

"If you're the babe magnet, then where are the girls?" I teased him.

"You know... Down there, dancing.." He looked down.

I saw Logan, touched Charlie's left shoulder. "Why don't you go and find a girl down there?" My boyfriend winked at Charlie.

"Wow, I feel jealous at that!" I snickered as I walked down on the dance floor.

Charlie's POV

"Wow, I feel jealous at that!" Alyanna snickered as she walked down on the dance floor.

"Hmm, I'm gonna chase her. Later man!" Logan said as he suddenly walked down.

How long will I keep pretending?

I pretend that I don't like her anymore but I do and it's hard!

I can't live like this!

But I don't like the idea of hurting Logan.

If she didn't say 'yes' to Logan, then maybe--

I was interrupted by my thoughts as I saw Mr. Lightning, standing beside me as he started to speak.

"How are you doing tonight, Charlie?" He asked me as he took a sip of his beer.

"Great sir, thank you for organizing the party and respectfully agreeing to my idea of having a clubhouse party." I said politely.

Yes, I thought of this and I let Mr. Lightning and Logan arranged it.

"Of course. I think my daughter is very happy of the outcome." He said as he pointed at Alyanna, dancing with Logan.

Okay, that hurt my heart. It wounded me.

"Yeah, she's... enjoying herself." I mumbled.

"Are you okay?" He asked as he touch my right shoulder.

"Of course, sir. I am very happy right now." I smiled innocently.

"Happy? That smile is so innocent." He stated.

"Really?" I said.

"Happy? More like hurt." I heard him mumbled.

"What was that, sir?" I asked.

He looked at me. "Are you really happy?" He asked.

"Honestly..... I don't know." I said as I look at Alyanna and Logan.

I sighed. "Love is crazy, isn't it?" I added.

He started to laughed.

"What's wrong, Mr. Lightning?" I asked.

Maybe its that beer that's driving him crazy.

He suddenly put his arm around my shoulder as I looked at Mr. Lightning.

"Are you inlove with my daughter?" He asked as he smiled.

I can smell his breath as he talks to me.

It smells like... I don't even wanna say it! I don't like alcohol.

But that question caught my attention.

I don't know how to tell the truth.

I don't want to tell her father right now cause he'll just start comparing her feelings with me and Logan.

I can't let that happen.
