Lin's POV

It was getting closer and closer for us to stop working with Hamilton. Pippa was so on edge lately, which made me upset. She wanted to feel normal, but it was impossible... She was standing on stage waiting for the pictures to be taken. It was a photo shoot day and everyone was in full costume. It made us all laugh and smile for a bit even with the amount of sadness in the air. She walked over to me and held my hand while we waited for our turn. Anthony had tripped and hit one of the props, causing it to fall and create a loud boom when it hit the floor.

"My bad." He said while picking it back up. Pippa had jumped in her place, her grip on my hand tightened and she shook her head.

"Hey, it's okay.." I whispered while hugging her. Her breathing had quickened which made me scared... "It's okay... You're here... Try and relax. Listen to my heartbeat..." I whispered.

"Is everyone ready for the group photo?" Tommy asked. "Lin?" He raised an eyebrow at me.

"Just give us a minute..." I said quickly. Pippa shook her head and wiped her tears away. "Are you sure?" I whispered. She nodded and didn't even bother to look at me... Her stitches had left a scar on her forehead near her hairline. I kissed the scar and led her to our spots.

When we finished the group shots, individuals needed to be done. I did mine first, then Pippa. It was always fun seeing her during photoshoots. She had put up a smile and looked genuinely happy. I smiled at her front and got her to laugh. When she finished, she wrapped her arms around me while resting her head on my chest.

"Are you okay now?" I whispered.

"Yeah." She sighed. "When can we go home?" She asked me.

"Soon. Soon." I answered. She frowned and looked away from me. I felt bad telling her that she had to wait, but we had to. Things had to get done here, and it's impossible to do anything when we were always so busy. I was busy with writing for Moana and trying to manage this while Pippa took care of everything around the apartment. She made sure Max was taken care of while I made sure we had the money to do things. Of course we always had money coming in for royalties every time someone bought the cast album, or if they bought tickets to see the show...

"Alright, thank you everyone for doing this!" Lac yelled. I looked over at Pippa who had been sitting on a chair towards the back of the stage with Jasmine. I headed over but was stopped by Tommy and Lac...

Pippa's POV

"You should tell him that you want to go home." Jasmine frowned while we walked to the dressing rooms.

"I did. But he keeps stopping to talk with everyone. So it's literally impossible to even get a word in." I groaned. "It's like he doesn't want to be at home anymore. Like he's hiding something..." I frowned. Jasmine gave me a little hug and disappeared into her dressing room. I walked into mine and started to change out of my dress. Why was it that every time I needed something Lin was never there? Every time he needed something I was there for him. I tried my best to be understanding... When I got the dress off, I hung it up on the hangers and looked at myself in the mirror. My costume helper undid my corset and left for me to change into my normal clothes.

I stood there and looked at myself in the mirror. I wasn't as skinny as I used to be.. I was working hard to get it back, but it was melting off slowly... Maybe that's the problem... I'm not what I used to be... He doesn't want me anymore because of that... I frowned and pulled on my shirt before I started crying even harder.

I wasn't anything to him anymore. What was the point? He didn't care for me... He was only with me because I had his kid... Nothing more, nothing less.

Lin's parents were at our place when we got home. I smiled at Max, which caused him to giggle. Oh how I loved to see him smile so much. He made my day a hundred times better all the time.

"Oh my tiny baby boy!" I cooed while picking him up. Lin started talking to his parents while I went into the bedroom with Max. He looked just like Lin... Everything was there including his bubbly personality. Lin was hardly ever angry, but he had his moments. Max hardly ever cried unless he was sick. "Oh Max... Mommy loves you so much." I whispered. He grabbed my nose and giggled. How could anyone ever be mad at this face? He was going to grow up to be a little cutie. His cheeks were full and always smiling...

"My parents are gone." Lin said quietly. I turned and saw him standing in the doorway of the nursery.

"Alright." I mumbled while putting all of my attention back on Max.

"Is there something bothering you?" He frowned.

"Nope." I said while putting Max down in his crib. "Can you put him to sleep. I have to get the laundry sorted." I said while walking passed him. I wasn't going to let on that I didn't feel great. He wasn't going to care anyway.
