After Regina had disinfected the girls hands, she sat back on her chair and talked to the teenager. The blonde said nothing. After a few minutes, her phone rang, Regina apologized and picked up.

"Hello, Mary Magaret," she said, "Yeah, she's still here.- I don't know, but she can't stay here.- Really?!- Thank you so much.- See you soon!"

The girl listened intently to the conversation. When Regina hung up, she turned back to her and said, "That was Mary Magaret, she is Davids wife." She smiled at the blonde briefly, then continued: "We agreed that you can't stay here, but we also don't want you to go anywhere else. We still have to know what happened." Another short break. The girl lifted her gaze away from her hands, which were still on her thighs, and looked nervously at Regina.

"She said you can sleep at hers today, she has a spare room, it's late and the bed is certainly more comfortable than the couch." She winked at the young teenager and immediately her eyes fixed on her hands again. A blush formed on her pale cheeks. "You're still tired, and you need to rest a little, Mary Magaret is on her way. She'll take you to her place."

Immediately, green eyes shot up and stared into brown ones with fear reflecting in them. Skeptically the teenager shook her head, which caused her already throbbing headache to become worse. Quickly, she closed her eyes and leaned her head against the back of the sofa. But immediately Reginas words came back to her mind and her eyes flew open. She looked into a worried face. "Do you have a headache? Wait, I'll bring you something to drink."

The brunette filled a glass of water and handed it to the girl. She sat back on her chair, and when the blonde gazed at her with a skeptical, anxious look, she said, "Don't worry, Mary Magaret is the purest, most sensitive, kind-hearted person I know." She smiled at the scared girl encouragingly. Heh teenager looked down and wanted to say something, but the words remained stuck in her throat and caused the girl to cough weakly. Her head began to throb again and she took a big mouthful of water.

Regina looked at her patiently, her eyes telling the girl to try again. She closed her eyes briefly and took a deep breath before saying softly and weakly, "Come with me, please ..." she had to cough before slowly continuing: "Please don't leave me alone." Ashamed, she fixed her eyes on her hands and blushed again.

The girl trusted this woman and to admit that, was a great deal for her. She was the only one who seemed to understand the blonde and she didn't want her to go away. The thought of having to sleep with a stranger, though she had to go through it so often, scared her and Regina's presence gave her at least a little security. She was surprised that she had so much trust in this woman after such a short period of time.

Regina smiled at her gently and wanted to answer as suddenly someone knocked on the door. Her eyes still fixed on the girl, she said in a firm, loud voice, "Come in."

The door opened and shyly the girl looked at the woman that was standing in the doorway. She had brown hair and a pixie cut. She had a white shirt with a nice embellishment on the collar, a thin jacket and a gray-brown skirt that went to her knees.

She stepped in and her gaze fell on the girl. Immediately the blonde looked to her hands, which were still lying on her thighs. "Hello, I'm Mary Magaret." Her voice was soft and enthusiastic. She came a few steps closer and stretched out her hand to the girl, but when she saw her stiffening and starting to tremble, she immediately took her hand away again.

Regina stood up and laid her hand on the woman's shoulder. "Hello Mary Magaret, may I accompany you?" Full with hope, the blonde looked at Regina and noticed that she was looking at. She winked at her briefly and looked to the woman next to her again. The teenager blushed again and her heart started to beat faster but she couldn't tear her eyes away from the woman.

"Of course Regina!" the stranger said excited.
"Well, let's go." Regina said, smiling. She came a few steps closer to the girl and then squatted in front of her. The blonde felt the warmth of the woman's body and for the first time she realized the smell of apple and cinnamon that came from her. Immediately the girl relaxed a little and her muscles loosened.
Just loud enough so only the girl could hear it, Regina said, "See? She's quite nice, isn't she?" and said louder, "May I help you again? I think your feet'll still hurt a little and are still too weak to go to the car alone." Slowly the blonde nodded and gave her a shy smile.

Carefully she took one of the girls arms. The teenager felt the soft skin on her own and goose bumps appeared and her belly began to tingle. She tried to hide it and concentrated on Regina again. The brunette put the girls arm carefully over her own shoulder and pulled her gently up. The blonde leaned on her and felt the pain and exhaustion in her feet. She wanted to sit down again. Regina, however, was holding her tight. "It's not far to my car, you can do it!" She smiled at the girl encouragingly and slowly they went off. Mary Magaret close behind them.

"Is it okay if she's driving with me?" asked Regina, still focused on the blonde but with her head directed to Mary Magaret. "Regina, of course, that's no problem," the woman said comprehensively. Gratefully Regina gave her one last look and turned back to the girl as their paths separated. Mary Magaret went to an orange off-road vehicle and Regina steered toward the black Mercedes. "Everything okay?" Regina asked carefully. The girl nodded.

When they arrived at the brunettes car, Regina opened the passenger door and helped the blonde sit down. She closed the door and then, as usual, went to the driver's side and climbed in.

The car parked, the blonde opened her eyes and straightened her head, which she had leaned against the window pane, and looked around. They were standing in front of a large house. Regina got out and helped the girl get to the door where Mary Magaret was already waiting.
She let them in and slowly they went up a couple of stairs. Mary Magaret unlocked the door to her apartment, and Regina immediately led the girl to one of the chairs that stood around a wooden table next to the door. Carefully she sat down and sank in the chair as she felt the two pairs of eyes on her.

"Are you hungry?" Mary Mary asked.
The teenager played with her hair as she nodded embarrassed.
"What would you like?" she asked, again the girl remained silent. She did not want to talk so she continued playing with her hair.
"Why don't you just make scrambled eggs?" Regina suggested.
"But ..." Mary Magaret wanted to say, but Regina cut her off: "Now, please!"
"Okay" she murmured softly and Regina gave the girl a triumphant look.

When Mary Magaret went to the kitchen next door, Regina took a chair and sat down in front of the blonde.
"How's your hands?" she asked caring.
The girl stretched out her arms to show the woman the open positions on her palm. They weren't as red as they used to be and thanks to Regina's care they did not hurt any more.

Carefully the brunette put her hands under the blondes and the girl let them fall into the touch. Her heart began to beat faster as Regina softly stoke over the battered places with her thumb. After she had looked at the girls wounds, she raised her head and her eyes met green ones, who had been watching her closely before. She smiled lightly, then asked: "And how do they feel?"

The girl knew, that Regina was careful not to ask any questions she could answer with yes or no.

The blonde was silent for a short period of time and just enjoyed the touches of Reginas thumbs, which still stroke over her hands. After a while, she softly said, "I like it when you do this with your thumbs." But quickly, she realized what she had just said. Why does my mouth have to be faster than my brain? Her facial expression stiffened and she blushed deeply. Quickly she glanced up. The girl knew that she couldn't let her walls come down. So she did the only thing, seeming reasonable to her. She built them even higher. Immediately she pulled her hands away and missed the warmth.
