Emma turned around.

She ran and ran. She ran until she ran out of breath. And much further.

But as the adrenalin in her blood faded, she stumbled and fell to the ground. She looked around and found that she was already in the middle of the city. The forest far behind her. But no one was to be seen.

With trembling hands, she pulled her phone out of her jeans. Frantically, she searched for David's contact and pressed on his name.

"Emma, thank god! Are you all right? Where are you? "He asked immediately.

Emma could not hold back the tears and her body shook with a loud sob. "David!" She cried in the phone. "David, help me! Please, he is here! I ... he ... David please ..." she pleaded with the man.

"Oh my god, Emma where are you?! Is he near you? "David asked worriedly.

"I'm at ... at the clock tower. David please come "Emma was shaking so hard that the phone almost slipped out of her hands.

"Emma, go inside library and lock it from inside, okay?! Get there quickly. I'm on my way"

David waited for Emma's okay and then hung up. He was almost in his car when Regina approached him.

"David, are you okay?" She asked when she saw the hectic man.

"No. Emma. Get in, "he said as he did not have time to explain everything to Regina.

Alarmed, the brunette sat into the car and let David explain what had happened.

When they arrived at the clock tower, Regina stormed out of the car and knocked on the door of the library.

"Emma, Emma! It's me, Regina, "she said loudly, hearing the heartbreaking sobs of her patient.

David came to help immediately and unlocked the door with the spare key.

Emma crouched behind a bookshelf and chewed on her fingernails. She stared straight ahead and rocked back and forth.

Regina ran to the girl and squatted next to her.

"Emma, what happened? Are you all right? Did he touch you? "The brunette asked worriedly.

Emma continued to stare straight ahead. Her eyes were blank but told how scared she was.

Regina glanced up at David, who looked at her desperately.

"Emma, can you get up? Can you do that for me? "The brunette asked, not wanting to touch the girl because it could have fatal consequences.

Emma nodded absently. Slowly she got up. Her legs shaking, she looked at Regina. Then she reached out for the woman and gave Regina the okay to help Emma.

She wrapped the girl in a hug and squeezed her tightly. Once again, a sob caused Emma's body to shake. The blonde clung to Regina and cried into her shoulder.

"Shhh ... you're safe now. Everything will be alright, " the psychologist whispered.

For a long time, they just stood there. Arm in arm. Regina stroking Emmas back calmly. The blonde crying into the brunettes shoulder.

When Emma calmed down, Regina took her by the hand and led her to David's car. But before she got in, Emma froze once more. Between two houses she could see the green eyes and the peevish grin. Again she began to shiver and silently pointed her finger at the figure.

David's gaze followed the direction and he recognized a man who closely resembled Emma's description. He'd never seen him before, and that only reinforced his suspicions.
