"I was standing right here when I first saw Brooke," I said, glaring at Ian, "She looked so relieved. Like, now that I was here everything would be okay. Then, Jamie, he's a boy. He just wants to believe everything is fine and that adults will be the heros and save the day for him."

"I'm sorry." Ian sighed, shaking his head, "You know, my dad--"

"He hasn't had a drink since your mom died." Nathan scolded.

"That's not true." Ian defended.

"It is. And you let him quit his job for you. Did you even thank him? Or show appreciation?" I snapped.

"I've got scouts coming! I couldn't stay. I'm about to be somebody, I couldn't!" Ian spoke, turning to Clay and Nathan, "Shouldn't you guys be happy? You're my agents and we dodged a bullet! Everything is okay!"

"Thrilled? That you drove drunk and left our families to die? What the hell is wrong with you?" Nathan snapped.

Ian looked between the three of us and started to walk away. He got in maybe 5 steps before Clay tackled him and they both went over the edge. Nathan and I bolted to the side, seeing Ian out of the water. I felt rage inside of me and sent my body into his, feeling the water wrap around us.

"No one is here to save you! How does it feel!" I shouted, shoving his face under the water.

I threw him aside and helped Clay out of the water. Nathan went over to Ian, lending him a hand. At first, Ian thought Nate was on his side... well, until he punched him in the face.

"Have a nice walk!" I shouted as the 3 of us walked away.

The rest of the day was spent watching Jamie play his first baseball game. They started off rocky but they were able to get their first win of the season and their happiness was wonderful. Brooke had pulled me aside and I could see she was up to something.

"So, I was thinking about New York and I don't think we should go." She stated.

"What? Why not?"

"I remember when I was there and whenever it was a crazy day, which was most days, I would watch the playgrounds on top of these buildings. I would see kids lose their ball over the edge or something like that. It's no way to play! That's a rough way to grow up."

"So, you turned down the job because you don't like that kids lose their ball over the edge?" I laughed.

"I turned down the job because I don't want our child to lose their ball over the edge. Unless it's the roof of my store, here, in Tree Hill." She smiled.

I scrunched my eyebrows, "Our child? Okay, you lost me."

"Chase needed to take a drug test, but he took a joint at the Kid Cuddi show. So, he went to Alex for help but she was worried about Quinn's pot brownies so Alex came over to ask you! But you weren't home, so since her and Chase are getting close and she wanted to be the one to save him, she asked me. Well, the lab called Chase. So Chase told Alex, who told me, that we're pregnant."

"Wait..." I smiled.

"We're pregnant!" She smiled.

I just laughed and pulled her face to mine and placed a long kiss onto her lips before pulling away.

"I knew we could do it!"
