A/N:
This is it guys! The end is happening...
I just want to take the time to thank you all for sticking through this book with me, even when I SUCKED at updating! I love you all sososososoooooo much!
I have a couple ideas to do after this book is over, but for now, let's finish this.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Hurry up, we have to get him to the hospital!" Nate shouted.
"I'm going as fast as I can!"
I was driving like a maniac, so I grabbed the radio, "This is Tobin James... I have Dan and Nathan Scott and we're headed to the hospital so BE READY!"
I was breathing so fast and I could hear my heartbeat in my ears. I saw Haley with Nathan finally, and it brought tears to my eyes. I couldn't help but smile at them. Nathan was home, and he was alive.
I was walking through the hospital when Brooke crossed my path.
"How did you even know I was here?"
"I heard you on the police radio..." She started, and then seeing my clearly concerned look, "Okay, don't freak out but Xavier attacked me but all that matters is I am okay, you're okay, and he is going to prison for good."
I cupped her face and pulled her lips to mine for a long and passionate kiss. "I love you."
She smiled and we went to go see Nathan, exchanging hugs with everyone.
"You have now saved, 2 out of 3 men that are the most important people to me." Haley smiled, taking me to a hug, "I love you so much, baby brother."
I love you too, Hales." I smiled, turning to see Nathan. "Hey."
All he did was smile, shake his head, and pulled me into the longest hug that we have ever had.
"Thank you." He whispered.
"I like the pockets in the shorts... they can carry their own stuff now." I smirked.
"He tricked me again." Brooke sighed, "Then he left, like he always does."
"Well, he's stupid and doesn't know how amazing, beautiful, kind, intelligent, and loving person you are. He doesn't really know you at all." I replied, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear, "I'm still shocked myself at the thought of someone not being able to love Brooke Davis."
She just started to cry harder and let the tears stream down her face. I took her into my arms and placed a kiss onto her head.
"Why doesn't my dad want me." she cried.
I knocked on the door with anger inside of me again. Ted opened the door with his 'charming' smile, and I walked right in.
"Want some coffee?" He offered.
"No, Ted, I don't want any coffee, and I want you to be a father." I snapped, getting his attention, "For some reason that I can't figure out, Brooke continues to give you chances and you blow them away like nothing! What is wrong with you?"
"Are you sure you don't want some coffee?"
"I want you to be a father!" I yelled, "By the way... what kind of father tells his year old daughter before a dance that her dress makes her look thick?"
I headed to the door and turned to him one last time, "It's Dick, Ted... YOU are a dick."
It was the night of the burning boat festival, and things were looking good for everyone in Tree Hill. Nathan was home and safe, Carter was healthy, Brooke was off bonding with her parents, and I was now with Haley under my arm.
"How's it going?" She smiled.
"Really good, actually." I smiled in return. "I don't have a career, but my family is with me and everyone is safe. Tree Hill is home again."
"I actually was wondering if you would want to own Tric? I talked to Karen and she's willing to sell it to you."
I laughed, "Haley, that's great and I would love nothing more! But, I don't exactly have money for that!"
"I have a plan for that too." She smirked.
***
"Go on a ride with me, Brooke Davis." I smirked.
"What are you up to? Where are you taking me?"
"Look where we are." I smiled, looking at her reaction.
"My old house..." She gasped, "Why are we here?"
"It's our house." I smiled, "You once said that this home deserved better... a family that loved each other, and sat together. So, why can't that family be ours?"
She smiled and shook her head at me, "It'll be the best family. I wished for this, here, without even knowing it. I wished for you, our family, and this house. I found treasure here, in our son, my parents." She creied, "Everyone should have that... that place that makes them happy."
"You should have that." I smiled, placing a kiss onto her lips.
"Thank you." She smiled, placing another kiss onto my lips. "I wanna go see my room!"
I shook my head at her and laughed as she ran up the stairs.
"Woah! What's that?" Jamie asked, watching Haley pulling out that little tin box.
"Wishes." I smiled.
"Every year, Me and your uncles would come up here and write predicitons we wanted."
"Did they come true?"
"Usually, yes!" I laughed, "Without reason, or question, they worked out in our favor without us expecting it."
"It's a magical place here." Haley smiled, "There's only one Tree Hill, Jamie Scott."
"And it's your home." I finished, wrapping them both in my arms.
It's the oldest story in the world. One day you're seventeen and planning for someday, and then quietly, without you ever really noticing, someday is today, and that someday is yesterday and this is your life.
We spend so much time wanting, pursuing, wishing. But, ambition is good. Chasing things with integrity is good. Dreaming.
If you had a friend you knew you'd never see again, what would you say? If you could do one last thing for someone you love, what would it be? Say it. Do it. Don't wait. Nothing lasts forever.
Make a wish and place it in your heart. Anything you want. Everything you want. Do you have it? Good. Now believe it can come true. You never know where the next miracle is coming from, the next memory, the next smile, the next wish to come true. But, if you believe that it's right around the corner, and you open your heart and mind to the possibility of it, to the certainty of it, you just might get what you wished for. The world is full of magic, you just have to believe in it.
So, make your wish. Do you have it? Good. Now believe in it, with all your heart.
A/N:
And that's a wrap folks!
Again, I love you all sososo much for commenting, voting, etc on this story and following me through it. One Tree Hill meant a lot to me, and I am assuming it did for you as well, so I hope that I did it justice for you all!
Now that this book is complete, my ideas I have are for another fanfiction obviously.
If you love the 100, I already have a book for that called 'Second Born' so go check it out!
As for right now, I am currently watching the Vampire Diaries and might do a book for that.
And then, obviously, I could create another One Tree Hill and create a whole new character/story from the beginning.
What do you all think? Let me know! I LOVE HEARING FROM YOU ALL!
I repeat, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BEING HERE. It was an awesome ride!(:
