Dinner with Friends

 Callie drove home and prepared dinner for everyone. Slowly all the girls came home. And all the girls sat down, hungry.

“ Guys, I had the absolute best day on the planet.” Lizzy said animatedly

“That’s great! Did anyone have a bad day?” Michaela asked.

 Sassy started crying as she said, “Sadly I did. I bleached someone’s hair a shade too light. And his entire life revolves around his appearance.”

“Oh Sassy, I doubt it is that much of an issue.” Lizzy said reassuringly.

“Lizzy, I had to sign a waver saying that I would not expose what went on during his time at the salon. That’s how major it is, and the fact that I cannot tell ya’ll who it is, is killing me. My entire career with hair may be ruined if he decides to sue. I feel so terrible.”

“Well, let’s brighten the mood. My meeting with Free People went really well, and I have my first shoot tomorrow morning. I am stoked! I wonder if there will be any hot models. Hopefully. Hopefully.” Michaela said dreamily.

Lizzy spoke up and said, “Well, I signed with Jeremy Davidson Company, or JDCO. And I will meet the band within the next week or so, so that I will have a good idea bout how they want the songs to sound. And supposedly one of the guys can write songs. So I think that I will collaborate with him, just so that the band will be happy with the sound. And I won’t get fired. Oh what if they think that they made a mistake signing me? What if they think that I am some hick, because; I am from Texas. What if..”

Then Callie replied. “Don’t go all what if’ing on me now. Think of the positive aspects of this. There are only positive things to say about this job. Come on. Lizzy you did not have to deal with crazy first time mom’s trying to get their kids used to the water. I had one mom who complained because the water was too cold. We were in an outside pool. Another mom complained because her daughter was not getting more attention than the others.  One mom Kelsey was her name. She named her daughter Darcy because she thinks that she will be married to Harry Styles one day. And he will adopt her daughter as his own.”

“Wow, really that’s sad. It would be great if we could meet them one day, but we have to stay in reality.” Michaela replied laughing.

After dinner the girls decided to watch one of Sassy’s favorite movies, Love Actually, to try to cheer her up. By the end of the movie the girls were ready to go to bed. They worked out all the details for the next day, like who was driving who where and what they wanted Callie to fix for dinner.
