Jung Hoseok.
Or, his stage name, J-Hope.
He doesn't use that name anymore, though. After what happened three years ago, he didn't want to go back.
Maybe it'd be better to just live a simple life as a normal citizen, and not an idol.
Besides, wasn't being an idol the reason why the accident happened in the first place?
Hoseok noticed the burning gaze on him and slightly turned his head to look at the girl. A faint smile crawled onto his lips and he returned back to watching the performance.
He recognized the girl. Do Luna, Kyungsoo's younger sister. He knew she recognized him, too. Her facial expressions said a lot.
"Oh my god." Luna muttered under her breath, embarrassed. "He saw me staring at him. Oh my god."
Mel peered over at her with an eyebrow raised. "What's up?"
"Nothing, I saw someone I knew from class." Luna stuck her tongue out awkwardly before looking back on stage.
...
Evelyn got home late at night. She dragged herself into the apartment and yawned, tired.
After showering and getting ready for bed, she slipped under the covers and went onto Instagram.
BTS official had just posted some concept photos for the boys, Chanyeol posted a short clip of the song he was working on, and—
—Sehun just spammed her feed.
Well, in his words, it would be; "Be glad that I blessed your feed! It's not everyday you get to see someone so handsome."
Scrolling through the posts, she spotted a particular photo that caught her interest.
It was a drawing of a small cottage surrounded by lavender. It was Sehun's drawing, no doubt, the structure seemed familiar but Evelyn couldn't pinpoint where she had seen it before.
Reading his caption, she slightly scrunched her eyebrows together.
"I miss you, but now I'll erase you. It was fun while it lasted."
Something clicked in her mind. He said he learnt to "protect himself", right? But does that mean he was hurt? How was he hurt? And by who?
Or maybe she's just thinking too much. Maybe this was the concept for their next comeback? Sehun is known for giving spoilers after all.
She decided on the latter as she didn't want to waste her time thinking about something which probably didn't matter.
Evelyn scrolled down lower to see Baekhyun had posted, but before she could get a good look at the video her vision blurred.
She closed her eyes on instinct and soon after felt someone's warm breath on her neck.
"Yah."
"What?"
"Go to sleep." V rubbed her hair. His eyes were still slightly red, except this time Evelyn noticed.
"You okay?" She raised an eyebrow.
"Why wouldn't I be?" V peered at her as Evelyn tried to read his expression. He hesitated before replying, "Ah. My eyes? You think I wouldn't be tired when you've been staring at me for the past two hours?"
Evelyn sighed. A few moments later she widened her eyes, "Hold up. Two hours?"
Her eyes flew to the clock on her bedside table, and sure enough, it was two in the morning. She quietly cursed under her breath as she fixed her bed and tucked herself back in.
"You have a call." V glanced at her movements, numbers appearing in his eyesight. "From... Seoul Hospital? Why are they calling you at this hour?"
Evelyn furrowed her eyebrows together before grabbing her watch to pick up the call. "Hello?"
"Is this Miss Oh Evelyn?" The man on the other side spoke.
"Speaking."
"This is Dr. Ahn. We have you down as an emergency contact for Mr. Oh Sehun, can you please come to the hospital?" The man continued.
Evelyn's heart dropped. "P-pardon?"
"Something happened at the concert today. It's hard to explain over the phone so please come to the hospital."
"A-ah, okay, I'll be right there." Evelyn nodded, she hand shaking as she hung up and put her watch on her wrist.
Her eyes filled with tears as she turned her head to look at V helplessly. "What do I do?"
He embraced her in a hug before replying, "Let's head to the hospital and find out what happened. I'm sure Sehun will be fine."
Evelyn nodded, wiping her tears. She grabbed her coat and left the house with V following close behind her.
"What's the fastest way to get there?" She asked.
She would've driven if Jimin didn't take her car to the dorms. It's at times like this when Evelyn hates the habit of hers of always lending stuff out.
"The last bus is already gone... if we run we can get there in about twenty-five minutes." V replied.
"Let's go." Evelyn nodded, about to set off but strangely found herself floating off of the ground.
V picked her up bridal style for the second time. "I can run fast. No one will see us at this hour so it's fine."
Normally in this situation, she would've blushed and said a sassy remark, but at this moment she was way too worried to be embarrassed.
Sehun...
Please be okay.
