Chapter 55

|Jihee's P.O.V.|

"You look beautiful."

"Oh... thanks." I replied, my cheeks turning red.

"Sit down." V said, motioning for me to sit down next to him. I did as he asked, and then just stared at the ground. What was even going on? I was super confused.

Suddenly, V stood up. I tilted my head in confusion, and he stood in front of me.

"Jihee... pay attention to what I have to say." V said softly.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Just pay attention to the words, you'll get it soon enough." V said, and then he closed his eyes for a second.

He then lifted up a microphone that he had been holding onto, which I hadn't even noticed he had with him.

Suddenly, a song started playing from somewhere, although I couldn't tell where. What was going on? The other members of Bangtan suddenly joined Taehyung, also each holding a microphone. 

Were they all going to sing to me?

"Can you please stay with me?"

As V sang the last verse, it felt like my heart was about to explode. I wasn't sure how to react... did he write that song for me?

"Taehyung..." I said.

"No... let me explain the song first." He said, and I didn't even have any argument against it.

"I know I messed up, badly... but I want another chance with you, and I want to explain everything to you... but even if you don't forgive me, I just want one day to go back to the way things were, before all of the insane problems we had."

"Tae, I can't believe that you would go through all this trouble just to do this for me... but can you explain? I'm really confused with what happened, and I want to be able to forgive you..." I replied.

"And that's exactly what I'm about to do." V said. "I want to tell you everything... and even if you get mad or upset about some things that I did... I just hope you can forgive me, and at least let the two of us be friends."

I hesitated. "Ok." I agreed.

"I'm gonna do it..." V mumbled to himself, trying to bring up his own confidence.

And he explained everything, down to the simplest details.

"So... Jisung oppa was the reason this all started?" I asked quietly. I could barely believe this whole story. How could Jisung do that? At least he tried to help fix it, but he was going to have a long talk with me later.

V slowly nodded.

"And that's everything?" I questioned.

He nodded again, and I didn't even know how to react.
