Chapter 9

|Jihee's P.O.V.|

I sat down on the couch and turned on the TV. Today was one of those days that I didn't feel like doing anything, and I just wanted to binge-watch some kdramas on Netflix or something. I heard the front door open, and I quickly turned around. Who would be coming home now? Usually appa and Jisung don't get home until late at night. My eyes widened when Jisung marched into room and slouched down on the couch. His fists were clenched, and he seemed like he was about to explode with anger.

"Uhh... Oppa, why are you home this early?" I asked.

"I was on my way to Minseok's house when eomma called me and told me to come home." Jisung muttered. 

"Jisung! I need to speak with you." Eomma said, walking into the room with her hands on her hips.

Jisung rolled his eyes. "But eomma, I was going to Minseok's house!" Jisung complained.

"You need to show me more respect than that, I am your eomma!" Eomma scolded. "But you can't be out of the house all day with your friends, you need to ask me when you can leave this house, and you have a curfew of 11:00. Arraseo?"

Woah... normally, eomma didn't seem to care about curfews or anything. I wonder what made her change her mind...

"Nae..." Jisung agreed, not wanting to argue with eomma. Eomma left the room, and that left me and Jisung alone. This was bad. Now I would hardly be able to leave the house at all because Jisung will be watching me 24/7. Ugh, now what was I supposed to do?

I was sitting at my desk in my room, just about to finish my homework for the day. Finally, I would be able to relax again. Bzz Bzz. Who just texted me? I took my phone from off of the charger, and checked my messages. Of course, it was Taehyung.

TaeTae✌️:
Hey Jihee!

What did he want now?

Me:
What's up?

TaeTae✌️:
Do you remember when you almost got hit by that car?

Me:
Nae... wae?

TaeTae✌️:
Well you still owe me a favor.

Me:
Then what do you want me to do?

TaeTae✌️:
I want you to take me out for ice cream 🍦

But why now? I didn't feel like leaving the house, and now that Jisung was definitely going to ask where I was going, this would be a problem.

Me:
🙄 Can't we do this tomorrow?

TaeTae✌️:
Ani! You have to repay me! 😖

Me:
Why do you even care? It's just a silly favor. And wouldn't you rather use it on something that's better than ice cream?

TaeTae✌️: 
What's better than ice cream? Name 1 thing!

He did have a point.

Me:
Okay... fine. Where do you wanna go?

TaeTae✌️:
That place... isn't it called Ice Cold? It's an ice cream and dessert shop.
