Chapter 34

|J-Hope's P.O.V.|

"So that's why you left the lunch room?" Jin asked V. It was after school, so V and I had decided to meet with Bangtan to discuss his 'situation'. 

V slowly nodded. He told me he had been scared to tell us because he didn't want us to be mad for him giving up so easily. I hadn't been upset, but I wasn't sure how the others would react.

"Why would you do that?" Jungkook asked sharply. I saw V flinch a bit.

"I didn't think I had a choice..." He mumbled. I had never seen V be this scared or nervous before, it was really weird...

"But you could've fought for her, told Jisung that she's-"

"Can you both stop?" RM demanded. We all turned our heads to RM, who seemed to be a bit agitated by the arguing. "We've already had enough fighting between you two, so please don't start another argument!"

Jungkook sighed and crossed his arms. "Fine." Why was he being so dramatic?

"V told me about this earlier today, thinking that maybe we could help him." I explained. V's face lit up, probably happy to know I was still supporting him.

"I know I messed up... but I didn't want to go up against Jisung, he's older than us... and kind of intimidating, actually... so I know I can't go talk to Jihee, or else Jisung will definitely know about and and he'll be even angrier with me." V said shyly, "But even though you all have a bad history with him, you all know him better than I do. And if you guys don't want to help... that's fine, I'll do it on my own. But if you all could help me, then you don't know how happy I'd be." V started looking at the ground, unsure about the group's reactions.

I wanted to help him, I understood how he must have felt in that situation. But I just hoped that the other members would agree, otherwise it would be way more difficult with just the two of us.

And if we did all decide to help, it would definitely be difficult. Especially explaining everything to Jihee afterwards, she would definitely be asking a ton of questions about it.

"I think we should help." Jimin said. V looked up in shock.

"Me too." Suga said.

V and I smiled. 4 people, that was a good start.

"I'll help." RM and Jin said at the same time. They looked at each other, and then started to laugh.

The 6 of us all looked at the last person. Jungkook.

"So?" I asked.

"Fine, I'll help." He agreed. V and I jumped up and started cheering happily. 

"Wait... so what are we gonna do?" Jimin asked.

We sat back down. "I'm not sure." I replied.

"I told Jisung I would stay away from Jihee, and I'm afraid that if I just start talking to her again, he'll figure out what's going on. Jihee has no idea about the deal, so if she mentions something about me, he'll know I've been talking to her, and get mad. So we need to find a way to get Jisung to agree about her being my girlfriend again, and then maybe even solve the problem between Bangtan and him." V explained.

"And how are we supposed to do that?" Jin asked.

"I have no idea." V said proudly.

Bzz. Bzz. I pulled out my phone to see a message from Sora.

Sora😘:
Hey, wanna hang out?

Me:
Sorry, I'm busy with BTS right now.

Sora😘:
Awww. You sure you can't come right now?

I looked up to see the rest of Bangtan discussing their plan. Even though they looked like they didn't desperately need my help, I still couldn't abandon them.

Me:
No, we're discussing something important. Can we go out tomorrow?

Sora😘:
Sure, that's fine!

I put my phone down and rejoined the group. 

"So if we do that, then maybe he'll understand!"

"No, that plan doesn't make any sense at all!"

"Can you guys just figure this out while I take a nap?"

"No, we need your help!"

"Okay, what the heck is going on?" I asked.

The 6 of them looked at me weirdly. "Where have you been this entire time?" Jimin asked.

"Come on, just fill me in already! I'm leaving Sora behind to have this discussion, so let's do this quickly!" I said, and they all started explaining their crazy ideas.

After discussing the topic for a while, we still had no ideas. The only thing we could agree on was that V would have to continue on going through with the deal. I could tell that V was upset over the whole situation, but I could see that he was finally happy that we had decided to help him. And this gives us a chance to fix the old conflict with Jisung, so all of us would be satisfied with the outcome. If we find a plan that works, that is.

"Wait... I have a really important question." V asked. "Do you guys think it would be a good idea... if I broke up with Jihee?"

We all looked at him with confused expressions.

"Only because of the deal, and I'll explain everything to her once we fix everything, and we'll get back together. But just so she doesn't have to suffer." V explained. That made a bit more sense, but why would he want to do that?

"Are you sure? She'll be suffering more if you break up with her." RM said.

"No, I mean that if we break up, then Jihee will try to avoid me, and it'll be easier for to go along with the deal that I made with Jisung." V said. The smile that he had on his face had left now.

"That makes sense... but are you sure?" Jungkook said.

"Positive." V replied without hesitation.

"Okay then... do what you've gotta do." I replied.

|Taehyung's P.O.V.|

After hanging out with BTS, I headed home. Even though we didn't have a plan yet, I was glad they were all going to help. And about breaking up with Jihee... I didn't want to do it. And it'll definitely be difficult, for the both of us. But I knew I had to do it. 

Bzz. Bzz. I sure hoped it wasn't Jihee texting me...

Kookie:
I'm still gonna help you... but I want you to know why I was mad.

Well, this sure sounds like a fun conversation...

Me:
Then why were you mad?

Kookie:
You promised to take care of her, remember?

Of course I remembered... that was the main reason I was scared to tell them in the first place.

Me:
Yeah, I know... and I messed up, okay?

Kookie:
And now look what happened. You made a deal to stay away from her, and now you've gotta break up until the situation's fixed.

Me:
I know...

Kookie:
So I get it. I understand it was a difficult situation... but you still made a promise. I told you not to hurt her, and you can't let this happen again.

Me:
Arasseo.

Kookie:
Good.

Woah... Jungkook was being super serious about this... and I get that he's in love with her too. He did give Jihee up to me, and I did kinda just mess things up for us... but I didn't know he was that serious...
