Chapter 52

|Taehyung's P.O.V.|

It's the next school day, and I pretty much ignored Bomi all day. She's honestly annoying, and I don't get what part of her brain is telling her that I like her. 

Other than that, I tried to say hi to Jihee whenever I saw her. Once before class, once before lunch, and twice after lunch. Most of the time it was because I went out of my way to pass by her. At some point in class, she turned around, and I caught her eye. I smiled, and what really made my day was when she slightly smiled back. It was only a small smile, but it was a smile.

She probably thought I was stalking her at this point or something. Well, maybe not stalking, but definitely being clingy. But I didn't want to push her away, I just wanted to-

"V, I need to say something to you." I immediately jumped out of my thoughts to see Jihee standing in front of me with a serious expression on her face.

How ironic. "S-Sure, what about?" I stuttered.

"I want an explanation, and you probably know that already." She started. "But I can't deal with this right now, I need more time. I know it's probably a big story, and just let me take in everything else first."

"O-Okay..." I replied, and she left quickly afterwards. Dang, if I can't speak normally to her without stuttering, then this is gonna be even harder when I go to explain everything to her.

I needed to think of a way to do this, a way to calm myself first. Or maybe I could do something to show Jihee that I wanted her back, and this wasn't all a game. I knew that she believed that part of the story, but I wanted to be sure that she trusted me enough to not be mad about it once I explained the entire story to her.

If only there was something that I was good at, then maybe I could use that to make her want to hear the explanation, and truly trust me...

Wait a second. I looked around the hallway, and I saw RM standing down the hallway.

"Namjoon!" I shouted, running up to him. I had an idea, and I couldn't do it alone.

"Woah, what is it?" He asked.

"I have a really good idea, and I need you to help me with it." I said.

"What do you mean?"

"For the explanation, I have something that I want to surprise her with, and I really need you and Suga's help with it." I explained.

"What do you want to do then?" He asked.

I quietly whispered my idea in his ear, and his eyes widened.

"That's a good idea, but are you sure that we can pull this off?" RM asked.

"I'm positive. With you and Suga's skills, I'm sure it'll work." I assured him.

"Okay... we'll get Suga, and then we can start right away." RM agreed with a grin.

The two of us found Suga, and then left the school together to start working on our idea. I was walking with a skip in my step and a smile on my face. This was the most excited I had been about something in a while, which was a good thing. If I wanted to pull this off quickly, then excitement and determination were exactly what I needed.

1 Week Later...

\Sora's P.O.V.\

The boys had all told me not to say anything to Jihee about what really happened, because they had wanted V to explain everything. Now, they had wanted to see me Suga's house, because they apparently needed to discuss something with me.

As I arrived, I rang the doorbell and Jin answered.

"Gaja, they're all in the basement." He said, and led me downstairs. 

Once I entered the basement, I saw all of members of BTS standing or sitting around in a studio-like room. There was one person in one of those spinning chairs, and they had their back facing me.

As he turned around in the chair, I realized that it was Suga. He had a really evil expression on his face, and he had a stuffed animal cat in his arms, slowly petting it.

"So... we've been expecting you." He said in a creepy voice.

I burst out into laughter, and so did the rest of BTS.

"Was that supposed to be scary?" I asked, trying my hardest not to laugh while I was talking.

"No, I've just always wanted to do that." Suga said, flashing his gummy smile. 

I started to calm down my laughter a little, and so did the other members.

"So why am I here?" I asked.

"V had an idea for how he wanted to talk to Jihee." Suga said, and he proceeded to explain his idea. 

"Woah... V came up with it?" I asked in shock. "She's gonna love it!" 

"So what we need you to do is that when we're all ready, we'll tell you the place, and you've gotta get Jihee to go there." RM explained.

"And it's okay if you say that I want to meet her, but you don't have to tell her." V added. 

"What, do you guys not have an entire plan? This might not work then." I said.

"Trust us, it's better this way." Jungkook said.

"Every plan we came up with has failed somehow." Jimin added.

"So your plan is to not have a full out plan... so the plan won't fail?" I asked slowly in confusion.

"Well it's just so we can work around any last minute issues. We've had a lot of bad luck so far, and if this works it'll be a miracle." J-Hope said. 

"Okay... but all I have to do is get Jihee to wherever this plan takes place, right?" I asked.

"Right." V clarified. "Your job is easy, and everything is already done. We just don't know if it's the right time for Jihee to hear the story. Do you think that she's ready?"

"Maybe... I'm guessing that she is, but for all we know, she may be feeling completely different on the inside than what she's really showing us." I explained.

"Suga, RM, and V are done with their project that they worked on, so that's probably enough time." Jungkook added.

"So that's it then?" I asked.

"Yup. You're free to leave my lair." Suga replied.

"Ok... Hobi, can I talk to you first?" I added.

He nodded, and I heard a few quiet "ooh's" as we exited the room.

"So what did you want to say?" J-Hope asked after we were in a more private location.

Instead of speaking I gave him a quick peck on the lips. He seemed a bit shocked for a second, but then pulled me closer for another kiss. 

"We really need to go out together more." I said softly, embracing him after the kiss.

He pulled away, and then looked into my eyes. "I know... but this thing is honestly a huge mess, and we need to help V. I swear we'll hang out more when it's over, arasseo?" Hobi replied.

I nodded, and we kissed each other again. I wanted more, but we were at Suga's house, it wasn't the best idea.

I pulled away again. "I have to go, tell the boys I said bye." I said.

"Ok, I will." J-Hope replied, and I found my way to the door on my own.

I was excited to see the Vhee couple back together, but I was scared that I would reveal a bunch of things too soon. It's pretty difficult to keep things from your best friend, but I seemed to be doing a pretty good job at it.

Well, I sure hope so.
