Art's POV

Where am I? I thought ng lumingon lingon ako sa paligid at napahawak sa ulo ko. Mejo napintig eto. Dahil na din siguro sa nainom ko kagabe.

May nag bukas naman ng pinto at nakita kong si Haley yun. Ang nagyaya sakin na magmodel kahapon.

Damn. I forgot na nakipagkita nga pala ako. And base sa itsura ko, I already know what happened last night.

"Hey." Sabi niya sabay abot sakin ng mug. Should I drink this? Baka may gayuma? Mahirap na.

"Uhm hi." Sabi ko at nilagay ang mug sa may side table.

"Good morning. I had fun last night." Sabi niya at umupo sa kama.

"Me too." Sabi ko.

"I'm guessing you don't remember by that look on your face." Sabi niya with pout.

"Uhm."

"Shhh. I'll just remind you then."

At doon na nga nagsimula ulet ang nangyare samin kagabe. I was smirking by the time na paalis na ko.

"Call me." Sabi niya kahit alam naming pareho na hindi ako naulet. I don't do them again pag nakaalis na ko. That's my rule.

"Sure."

"Bye Artemis."

"Bye sweet cheeks."

Sumakit ulet ang ulo ko at naramdaman ko na pumipintig ito. Damn. I feel sick. At doon napasimangot na agad ako.

May nag call sakin ng nasa kotse na ko. Hinihilot ko ang sintido ko ng makita na si Eris ang natawag.

"Cej. Ano na status mo? Makakapunta ka ba?" Napamura nalang ako ng maalala na may kelangan kami kitain ngayon. I forgot. Damn. Why now?

"Bakit ngayon pa?" I didn't want to deal with this. With her.

"Bakit ano ba meron?" Sabi niya. Masakit ulo ko, ayoko talaga pumunta. Pero kelangan.

"Ah alam ko na ngstastalk ka nanaman."

"Pshh. I don't stalk."

"Yeah right. But seriously you need to get here now."

"Fine. Eris."

"Hey don't say my name baka may makarinig sayo dito."

"Fine. Discordia. Happy?"

"Now get here now. Kelangan ka na namin." Pinatay ko na agad ang tawag at pinaharurot ang kotse papunta sa kitaan.

The Hunters were already there when I arrive. The trainees, juniors, seniors and the Elite (Us) are all there. Of course on the other side. The Amazons are also there.

Amazons.

Hunters.

What are they?

Ang hunters ay parte ng organization sa Greeks na nagmemaintain ng peace. Ganun na din ang Amazons pero sa Romans sila.

We are kinda bodyguards, police, investigators, etc in one. We were practically raised to be skilled/talented in all kinds of things. Because we needed to for our jobs. There are lots of requirements. Especially if you want to be in the Elites. And only few know of our organization. Even if your part of the Empire.

Kami lang ang katangi tangi na naguusap sa Empire. We solve problems on both sides, especially when it involves one another. Kami din ang naglalayo sa mga dapat hindi mag kausap. (Greeks and Romans)

Hindi pwede sila kausapin? Nope. In fact, we are required to communicate. Given order by our leaders. Why? Let's say let the guard dogs do their work. Easier said than done.

"Good to see that you're finally here." sabi ni A. I was about to reply ng may nagtap sa likod ko. Paglingon ko ay napasimangot ako.

"Art." Sabi niya with a smile on her face.

"Clementine."

"Don't you miss me? I know you love me." She teased as she went closer to me. Only inches apart from my face. I still didn't move away as I stared into her eyes and said,

"I didn't love you. I was just bored."

"How harsh." She says and went to move away. Alam kong nasaktan siya sa sinabi ko. But no way am I taking it back.

Did I love her? I did. But not enough to make my love for her win over my love for Jessica. The fact that I got serious for her was that I already was falling.

"Atleast I wasn't the one who lost." Sabi ko.

"Seeing you still use Cej. I think you are the one who Lost." She mumbles.

Naningkit ang mata ko. Siya kasi ang nagbigay sakin ng nickname na yun. Oo malayo sa Artemis. Pero sa pangalan niya hindi. Clementine Jane. At ang codename naman niya ay Mist. Kinuha naman sa pangalan ko.

Ano meron samin? Siya lang naman ang kaisa isang girlfriend na sineryoso ko. The one and only ex. I was willing that time to love another. To move on from Jessica. But I guess fate played with me ng malaman ko na part siya ng Amazons at nakuha lang ng impormasyon.

Did she love me? Was everything a lie? I don't know. We never really got to talk. Love me or not, it doesn't change the fact that she still used me to get information. And for that I can't stand her.

"Enough. We're here to discuss things. Not to make it personal." Sabi ni A.

Tumikhim naman ako at umupo. Nakatingin parin sakin si Clementine at naka smirk but it didn't reach her eyes. Everytime she does this, there was no amusement in her eyes. Instead, there was sadness.

But gone was the Clementine I knew. Now I thought ano ba talaga ang totoo niyang katauhan? Ang pinapakita niya sakin o ang pinapakita niya pag may ibang tao? It kinda makes me sad sometimes. Because I can feel that she's just forcing it.

"And let's not use names. Be formal here. We use our names. Not our birth names." Sabi ni A.

"Yes sorry about that." She muttered and sat quietly. Pero nakatingin siya sakin.

"Now let's begin the meeting." Sabi ni George. This is gonna be a long meeting.
