Jessica's POV

Hindi ako nakareact sa sinabi sakin ni Art. I mean. How can I? What should I say about that? Like hello? Diko alam kung tinutukoy niya ako or nagpaparinig siya or baka gusto niya lang na alam ko yun. So hanggang makarating kami sa reception ay tahimik ako. Naguusap lang kami ng plinano na namin kung pano yung program. Kaming dalawa kasi ang emcee sabi ni Sis.

It was already 6 o clock in the evening ng marating namin ang venue ng reception. Nag take kasi kami ng time sa picture taking sa church. Plus the fact that we had everyone settle down before Alex and Frances can go in. Dumami ang guests nila coming from both parties. Nagulat ako pati sina tito ay nandito.

"At this point I assume that everyone has settled down and we are all ready to welcome the newlyweds. Tonight calls for a grand celebration and it is our distinct pleasure to introduce to you for the very first time Alex and Frances as newlyweds." Sabi ko at tumingin sa lahat.

"So without any further ado, let us all rise and give our warmest welcome to the newlyweds." Art said.

Nagpalakpakan ang lahat and lots of whistles were heard as "Can't Stop the Feeling," by Justin Timberlake blasted. The doors opened and then they were walk dancing while people were making way for them and congratulating them.

Looking at Alex and Frances. I can see why naeenvy si Art. May parang kumirot din sa puso ko. Halata naman kung gano nila kamahal ang isat isa sa titig palang nilang dalawa. Muhka ding okay na sila ng family on both sides since nandito sina tito.

"I am Ms. Artemis Devon and my partner Ms. Jessica Ramos, the newly wed's friends had been given the task by the bride herself to be your emcee for tonight. We thank you all for gracing this joyful occasion especially to those who took a leave of absence from work or from school and to those who have traveled from the province just to be with us." Sabi ni Art.

"In behalf of Alex and Frances and their parents, we would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for your presence at this memorable occasion. It is indeed a pleasure to have you all tonight." Sabi ko naman.

"A wedding brings two people and their families together. It refreshes the family ties and friendship that have gone stale and almost forgotten against the toll of time and distance. For this allow us to give a very special welcome to all." Sabi naman namin parehas. Napansin ko naman na nagtinginan tinginan ang lahat. Its true, the Greeks and Romans in the same place because of a wedding. The Empire is whole.

Nagsimula na ang program. Ate Krishna was asked to sing for them first. Since siya ang may pinakamagandang boses sa muses. She congratulates Alex then said best wishes to Frances first and sang "True Colors" all the while looking at them and smiling.

"Huy. Bakit nakasimangot ka diyan?" Tanong naman ng katabi ko.

"Hindi naman ah?" Nakasimangot ba ko?
