After detention (3rd person)

Ron practically ran out of the classroom when Snape dismissed them- not even bothering to wait for Harry. He didn't have a location in mind, but ended up outside of the room of requirement, slightly out of breath from his 10 minute journey. He paced up and down in front of the blank wall until a door appeared. He was in a small room, with various cushions scattered around.

He kicked the wall in anger. He was angry about what Hermione had said. He was confused about his feelings and he was angry at his own confusion.

---

Hermione watched Ron leave, tears threatening to spill. Without looking at Harry or Snape, she left the classroom and ran down the corridor. Ron was long gone. She ran all the way to Moaning Myrtle's bathroom, ignoring the burning sensation in her chest and locked herself in the cubicle, her sobs drowning out the sniffing coming from Myrtle's cubicle.

---

Fred, George and Lee waited until Snape had shut the classroom door before they left their hiding spot. Harry had left just after Hermione and the corridor was empty once more.

"What should we do?" Asked Lee.

"There's no use going after Hermione and we'd be stupid to go after Ron." Pointed out George.

They all nodded in agreement and headed off towards the room of requirement.

---

"You have Lavender and Harry has Ginny."

Hermione's words repeated in his mind.

"You have Lavender."

Ron thought about his girlfriend and shook his head as if to clear his raging thoughts.

Did he even like Lavender? He didn't feel anything when being around her- unless you count the fact that he wanted to get away. When he saw Hermione however he felt his heart beat faster and a sudden joy erupt within him.

After everything they had been through together he finally realised what he should've realised long ago.

He loved Hermione.

But did she feel the same?

-----

Hermione wiped her cheeks with her no longer shaking hands and stared at her reflection in the mirror. Her eyes were red around the edges and her face was pale. She pulled out her wand and pointed it lightly around her eyes to reduce the redness. It was a spell she was sadly used to by now. She tucked her wand back in her robes and shook her head to clear her thoughts. That had to change. No more crying. She told herself sternly. She was done with crying about Ron and her pathetic love life. She loved Ron and he obviously didn't return those feelings. I'm going to move on. "I'm going to move on." She repeated firmly to herself.

Moaning Myrtle came floating out of her cubicle and sniffed in her usual greeting. "That's the spirt!"

----

When the twins got to the room of requirement they found that the door wouldn't appear.

"Why won't it let us in?" Asked Lee frustratedly.

"I think someone is already using the room." Said Fred, glancing around the corridor.

"We will just have to wait until they come out then." Said Lee, slumping against a statue.

"What if Hermione is in there?" Asked George.

"What if Hermione-"

Fred didn't get to finish his sentence as the door to the room of requirement appeared and Ron came barging out.

"Where's Hermione?" Demanded Ron.

"Hello to you too little bro." Said George sarcastically.

"Why are you here anyway?" Ron huffed.

"Waiting for Malfoy to sprout wings." Said Fred, rolling his eyes.

"Are you going to tell me where Hermione is or not?" Ron snapped.

"Why do you need to speak to her so badly?" Asked Fred.

Ron scowled.

"Well if you don't mind,"

"We have something we need to do."

The twins and Lee then disappeared into the room of requirement.

Sorry this chapter took so long, I've been really busy with school. This chapter is shorter than the others but I wanted to keep the story moving so I decided to leave it there. Thank you for 3.5k reads!
