Make You Realise... Romione

Chapter 12

When editing, I accidentally deleted the original chapter 12 so I re-wrote it as best as I could. It is very short but this is all I could remember writing.

Hermione had caught Ron and Lavender snogging unashamedly in the corridor leading to the library. Luckily they didn't notice her watching so she managed to slip away without any awkwardness. But that still didn't stop the tears that fell. When she reached the Gryffindor common room, she made her excuses saying that she was "tired" and made her way to her dormitory.

Her mind once again wondered to the conversation she had had with Fred and George. They were so determined to get her to go to the ball.

She felt in her pocket for the slip of parchment that they had handed to her and pulled it out. She rubbed her thumb of the tiny gold writing, thinking.

Suddenly a strange sort of warmth spread from the parchment through the tip of her fingers. It got hotter until Hermione dropped it onto the bed, startled.

Fred and George's PoV:
Fred, George and Lee were sat in the boys dormitory, testing out new joke shop products, when something in Lee's pocket started to burn. He plunged his hand into his pocket, and pulled out a piece of parchment, identical to that of Hermione's.

The twins stopped laughing and turned to look at Lee, serious expressions on their faces.

"What is it Lee?" Asked Fred, asking for confirmation.

Lee nodded, a smile spreading across his face.

"Looks like we need to have a chat with McGonagall about a Hogsmeade weekend after all." Said George.

Hermione's PoV:
Hermione stared down at the parchment for a while, before carefully picking it up. It was no longer hot, it was was the same temperature as before. Hermione shook her head and stuffed the parchment back into her pocket. She must be tired. She rolled over and went to sleep.
