"What-"

"We heard shouting so we followed to see where it came from." Said Fred.

"Then we realised it was you and Ron so we waited outside the door."

"Then you left and we followed a little way behind. And then we saw Malfoy and hid behind a statue."

"Then we fired spells at Crabbe and Goyle just as you punched Malfoy." Finished George.

"Great hit by the way."

Hermione stared at them, dumbfounded. Behind her, Crabbe and Goyle started getting up, grunting. Then they ran off in search of Malfoy, who fled after the punch.

"Tha- Thanks." She stammered.

"No problem." They replied in unison.

"Oh and don't worry, we fixed that jar you smashed." Said George.

"And the one Ron smashed." Added Fred.

"More like the 10 Ron smashed." Corrected George.

Hermione bit her lip. "Oh I didn't finish the detention!"

"Don't worry," comforted Fred.

"Yeah! I mean, we managed to fix most of the labels for you before we followed you."

"If Ron doesn't break anything else then he should be finished soon."

There was a pause.

"Hey, where did Lavertory go?" Asked George.

"What? The toilets are back there." Replied Hermione, confused.

"No! Lavertory, Lavender." Explained Fred with a laugh.

Hermione smiled feebly.

"Anyway, we should be getting back to the Common Room."

"What time is it?" Asked Fred.

Hermione checked her watch. "7 o'clock." Replied Hermione. "Come on. We don't want filch to catch us out past curfew."

The threesome made their way through the Entrance Hall and up the marble staircase, heading for the Gryffindor Common Room.

"Password?" Asked the Fat Lady.

"Niffler." They all said in unison.

The Fat Lady looked at them confused as they stumbled through the portrait hole, one after the other.

Hermione ran straight over to Harry, who was busy predicting his own death for Divination. He looked up when she sat down next to him.

"Hey Hermione, how was detention?"

He realised straight after he said it, that that was a bad question to ask. Hermione scowled.

At that moment, Fred and George joined them, sitting down opposite them.

"Alright there Harry?" Asked Fred.

"What is that?" Asked George, pointing towards Harry's homework. "On Saturday, during Quidditch, it has been told that I will get hit by a stray bludger and fall off my broom because of the angle that Neptune is making with Saturn." Read George. "Hey Fred, he thinks aren't good enough beaters!"

"Oh Harry!" Exclaimed Fred, pretending to be upset. The three of them laughed. Hermione sighed.

"What's up?"

"I forgot about the match tomorrow!"

"Don't worry, Harry won't fall off his broom."

"Yeah, we will wrap him in that muggle stuff, what do you call it? Wrapping bubble?"

"Bubble wrap." She corrected.

Fred snapped his fingers. "Dad is obsessed with that stuff."

Hermione pictured Mr Weasley, surrounded by bubble wrap, popping each air bubble and jumping every time one popped and the disappointment on his face when it didn't make a noise. She couldn't stop herself from bursting out laughing.

"What?" Asked Harry who was half confused, half pleased that Hermione was laughing.

"Imagine Mr Weasley surrounded by bubble wrap."

Harry thought for a moment and joined in with Hermione laughing.

Fred and George looked at each other, shrugged their shoulders and went to join Lee who was sitting on the other side of the Common Room.
