There is a lot of changing scenes in this chapter but I will point out when there is a scene change.

Ginny stood in shock, still holding her chosen dress by her side, the shoes that she had picked out in the other.

Sophia came towards them, a look of polite confusion across her face. "Is there a problem?" She asked kindly.

"No, thanks." Mumbled Ginny.

"Everything's fine." Assured Harry, turning towards the shop assistant and smiling. When Sophia turned away again, he turned to the beautiful red haired girl who was still in shock. "Ginny." He said softly. She turned to look at him, her huge brown eyes locked with his.

"I- I don't understand." She said sadly.

"It will all work out eventually." He said. There was a pause where the two of them stared into each other's eyes, all the unsaid things between them seemed to be communicated between them. Harry took a deep breath. "Will you go to this ball- party- with me?"

Ginny looked at him for a second, absorbing his words and going over them in her head and what they meant. Harry waited, holding his breath. Then Ginny broke into a huge grin. "Yes!" She shouted. She ran forwards and hugged him, her shoes hit him painfully on the back of the head but he shook the pain away like an annoying fly. He was taking Ginny to the party! When Ginny pulled away, she drew herself up to her full height and cleared her throat. "I mean- yes Potter, I shall go to the ball!" She said in a posh accent. They both laughed while paying for the things, Harry paid- of course.

Hermione: (Hogwarts Castle)
Meanwhile, Hermione had arrived back at the castle. She had ran. And was still running, to the 7th floor corridor.

All she seemed to do nowadays was run. Run from Ron. Run to Ginny. Run with Ginny. Now she was running away from Ginny. Everything was such a mess.

She had a stitch. Again. But that just seemed to speed her on. She didn't even know why she was running. It wasn't like the 7th floor was going to disappear.

At last she arrived, facing the familiar blank wall. She began to pace up and down it. Valentines Day Ball. One. Two. Three. She opened her eyes (when did she even close them?!) but there was no door. Something burned in her pocket but it felt like something far off, an old injury.

She tried again and still no luck. Her pocket burned again. No, something in her pocket. She pulled out a small piece of parchment that said "Valentines Day Ball" and as she read "Ball", a line burned through it. Then above it, squeezed in the margin another word appeared: "Party".

Fred and George: (The Three Broomsticks)
"Party sounds more fun." Argued George.

"Ball is more formal, she prefers formality!" Argued Fred.

"If it's a ball, no one will turn up without a partner and I highly doubt that Ron will come to his senses by then." Retorted George.

"Point." Said Fred, defeated.

"And anyway, you only want a ball because you enjoyed the Yule Ball with Angelina too much." Huffed Lee.

"When did you get here?" Asked George, startled.

Lee just rolled his eyes. Then suddenly, he felt his pocket burn which made him jump. The twins were looking at him expectantly. He pulled out a small piece of parchment from an inside pocket and handed it to the twins.

"Have you got a quill with you?" Asked George.

Fred shook his head while Lee jumped up from his seat like he had sat on a pin.

"I will ask Rosmerta." He said, before walking off towards the bar, which wasn't really all that far as the twins liked to choose seats near the back. Fred and George rolled their eyes.

"OI, LEE, HAVE YOU GOT THE QUILL?" Yelled Fred.

A very grumpy looking Lee came stomping back towards them and slammed the quill down onto the table.

"Thanking you." Said Fred in a sing-song voice picking up the quill and handing it to his brother.

There was silence while George scratched away with the quill before Lee blurted out: "what are you doing?" It seemed that his curiosity overpowered his frustration.

"Protean charm." Mumbled George, not really paying attention.

Lee gave the top of Georges head a look that said "I knew that already you idiot."

"Changing "ball" to "party" on Hermione's little piece of parchment." Explained Fred.

"Why?" He asked.

"So she can get into the room, of course."

"But I thought she was with Ginny buying dresses?" At that moment, the door opened and Ginny walked in. With Harry. The door closed again but Hermione was nowhere to be seen. "Oh dear."

"If Ginny and Harry are going to the party, then Hermione should too!" Said Fred.

"Not if she doesn't have a dress. This is the last Hogsmeade trip until next month." Pointed out Lee.

Fred's face fell.

Hermione: (7th floor corridor)
After a minute of staring at the new word, she started to pace in front of the wall again. Valentine's Day Party. Once. Twice. On the third time, a door appeared. This time, the door had a sign that read "Valentines Day" then the "ball" was crossed out and above it, in the same handwriting, read "party." She pushed the door open and walked inside.

It looked the same as when she had last been here, except now there was a huge wooden wizards radio placed next to the dance floor.

Hermione navigated her way through the chairs and went behind the curtain at the back. Through the door. Through another door. She stopped in front of what was the clothing rack but what was now multiple clothing racks. A bright pink dress caught her eye. It was like a hot pink, except it wasn't hot. It was hideous. She looked at the name tag.

Lavender Brown.

Of course it was hers. Hermione turned away from it, a mixture of disgust and anger inside of her. So Ron was taking her to the party.

Hermione had made up her mind. She was going to the ball! Party. Whatever.

I will now only be updating every weekend at least. Also, yesterday was Fred and George's Birthday so happy birthday to them! Don't forget to comment and vote!
