It was the first meeting of our club. A bit nervous and shy. I was the secretary of the club because I thought it will be a good job for me to take, since it's just taking notes, remind others for a meeting, and keep things in order. We decided to watch Ouran Host Club. We started the first episode and so far things were going well. Yes, it's a small group but I'm content that it's small. Maxell was there so was Nabi, Shrimpy, Alice, and Harper. But there's someone in the group that I've never properly get to know. I was nervous and too shy to go up to her but she started the conversation first. "Hi, my name is Katila." She introduced herself. "My name is Willow." I said back. There was an awkward silent that lingered in the air. "So....you like anime?" She asked. I just nodded because no sound could come out. Heck! My mouth won't even open!? "Cool....what have you watched?" She asked. "Black Butler...." was all I was able to manage to say out. "Really!" She said shocked. I just nodded. "That's cool!" She commented. We talked for a little a bit. Sometimes our conversation would die out as we're drawn into the Anime and when we snap back to reality.
When it was time for class we all talked for a bit. We started to get to know each other, as usual I was the quiet one in the group. "You sure are quiet." Harper mentioned. "Sorry....it's just that I have nothing interesting to say...." I said. "That can't be true!" Alice said trying to motivate me to speak. "Thanks." I only said. "Anyways! We should get to class." Harper suggested. We all agreed and went to our next class.
It was after school and I was walking home. Just got off the bus not to long ago. I came up to a crosswalk waiting for the light to turn. I like the silence despite the sounds of cars passing by and such. It's peaceful and relaxing. I've only wished that this was like this majority of my life. Sometimes I can hear the yelling and arguments play over and over again. No end to it what so ever. And I must live with it until my time is up.
The light changed and I continued walking. Walking by strangers and hoping as each one pass by they don't do anything. My music playing calming my nerves.
If there's one thing I've learned in this world.....is that you can not trust anyone.....no matter how close they are.
"I'm home!" I said out loud. No reply....not surprised. I walked into my room and flop down on the bed. Letting out a sigh as I stare aimlessly at the white wall.
I should probably take a nap.....I thought and closed my eyes and entered a dreamless sleep. Nothing but darkness to surround me like always.
So cold....so lonely.....so dark.....
